I bought a 65 inch LG C3 back at the start of the year. Every time I watch it it blows my mind with how good it looks. 4k Blu-rays like 2001, Bladerunner, Alien etc are jaw dropping on it.
Got my 65 Panasonic OLED in December 2022. At that time I also had two LG OLEDs on the shortlist. I had mine delivered and mounted to the wall. I am really happy with sharp picture of the OLED. My 4Ks look amazing on it. Also I just saw, that we have the same 4K UHD Player from Panasonic.
Hi Paul it’s Glenn hope you are doing well have you got any spare Blu-rays titles that you already have I’m struggling to restart my collection if you have if not doesn’t matter thank you 😊.
Pauly that oled won't last 6 months mate that projector light will absolutely ruin the panel oled doesn't like direct light as it damages it don't really think you thought it through mate
You should have went for a 65 to 77 inch mate wall mounted it Currys does it for £45 stored the projector until you could get a bigger room or put it in your living room.. stand also looks a bit too high your neck will be feeling it lol
At this time I won’t be using the projector. But when I do get a motorised screen I’ll probably place a protector in front of the OLED screen to protect it
I know what you mean me and DIY just don't like each other. It would be interesting to know what your Atmos speakers would sound like. If you are having them on the ceiling or the wall they should be facing down towards you
Pauly have a question mate, how come you have a Blu-ray player AND a 4K player? Does the 4K player not play both so makes the Blu-ray player irrelevant? Think we have the same 4K player 😂
I used to be with you there with the holes in walls situation, hated it with a passion because I always cocked it up. Now I don’t mind them as I’ve got better with time and always do a decent job! Top tip: Once you’ve pencilled a spot, get a drill bit first (a really small one) and make the hole… then gradually up the size of the bit until it’s getting nearer the size of your rawl plug. Keep trying the rawl plug for size as you go against the hole until it’s a snug’ fit then ‘gently’ hammer it in. Then you just screw it in. Jobs a good’un 👍🏼
I bought the c3 a couple weeks ago as I was decorating the bedroom only got the 48 inch one as the bedroom ain't the biggest but it's the best tv I've bought films look great and even the ps5 games look out of this world
Looks great I mounted my 75” LG 4k finally only thing I need to do is hide the wires and hook up my receiver and install ceiling speakers hopefully but anyway tv looks great too
Hi buddy. I got a 65"C3 late 2023 and love it. Oled is the way forward. Just letting you know soon as you get it setup go straight into settings and into energy saving and TURN THAT OFF! then you will get the full benifit of the brightness👍🏻
Welcome to the Oled family you will love it, did you say you had a blu ray player and a 4k player just wondered why you dont use the 4k player for both i might of misheard you. Great set up👍
Well done, Big P! Glad you finally got it, looks awesome and makes me a bit jealous. Ok, a lot jealous! Yes, I put a pull-down projector screen in front of my 55" 3D tv and it works great. The tv's a 2012 LG 3D model. I hope I get a few more hours out of it. Like you, I do enjoy 3D.
Hello Big Pauly, I have just watched your Oleg TV / movie room journey. Why don't you consider taking your old TV cabinet to a Charity shop / Sally Army (instead of the dump / recycling centre?). I have been subscribed to your channel for 2yrs + and have lost count the amount of times you have bought the odd dvd, blu-ray film or box set... .. . So think about spreading the empathy and thoughtfulness.... l bet someone is on the lookout for a TV cabinet, just like your old one. Kind regards and Good Luck Big Pauly, Movie Mad Marcus 🎬💿👍.
I had thought about it but I didn’t for 2 reasons. It was too heavy and bulky to transport, plus the larger charity shops I go in already have quite a few donated units already. I have got some old DVDs and Blu-rays to take in soon but I think more charity shops are refusing to take them now as they can’t sell them
Great video mate. Nice setup. Have you seen this one on settings ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE---f8PLK3MKU.htmlsi=MWf11wVmvP-rIFcm I prefer picture standard for everything, some people like filmmaker mode for films. In picture options turn off noise, mpeg, smooth, turn off motion eye care , turn trumotion off , turn off Eye comfort mode, turn engery saving off I think you have to change it on each input, so one for the blu ray , then if you use disney+ app on the tv then you will have to change the settings again for that. Once you done it , it will remember the settings.
Get a local handy-man round to put TV on wall will save space so much floor space you can store films around TV too - Time you pay for a TV stand be cheaper to get handy-man round
Pauly. You may lose the direct placement sounds of Dolby Atmos if you put the Atmos speakers so close to the ceiling and so far behind the main speakers. Otherwise enjoy new tv.
It's true, I have hardly any space for my dvd's they are now in the garage in tubs. Blu rays might be next as my 4k's are overflowing and somethings got to give. Don't have the digital storage for all my films though id need another 30tb at least.
Dear sir, you guys spend all your money on discs , but your video system stinks , you must spend 80 percent on audio video equipment, if you need to enjoy your movies.cheers
@@BigPauly BTW i ;like the stand you got have one like it only took 45 mins to build by myself the fact it took you 4 hours is defo a You problem good video
