I’m cautiously optimistic. The shortcomings will be ignored if I get a great story. Gunn is the best talent DC has had since Richard Donner/Tom Mankiewicz.

99% of everything James Gunn has done is solid so im paying up until the wheels fall off.

I think the suit looks fine, I thought the Man Of Steel suit looked stupid, at least the new one has the red shorts to break up the blue, MoS suit was way too shiny on film

Not a fan. While I appreciate the attempt at classic/modern/kingdom come elements to it, I don't think the mix turned out right. Still grouchy about how Cavill was removed but if it looks good I'll give this a chance.

The way I look at it is.... If a movie with a $300m+ budget hires a bunch of people and pays them $100k (guess) to design and create the most iconic superhero in the worlds suit, and it looks like something I could rent from a costume shop.... they've failed And this looks like a hired costume for make a wish.

Movie version superhero suits never look good behind the scenes. They’re meant to look good on FILM. Preferably a big screen with correct lighting. It’s why even the best cosplay looks like cosplay. Costumes don’t really work in reality. Usually there’s 4-5 different costumes anyway. Different fits or length of capes etc. Rock looked ridiculous of camera in the Black Adam suit. If HE can’t pull it off, no one can. Also, it’s why actors are 10 pounds underweight. Need to be facially thin otherwise screen adds 10 pounds and makes you look fat. Gunn’s comic record is 6-0. I’m all in.

James Gunn is buggin'. Henry Cavill is the PERFECT Superman. I don't know if I'll ever forgive Gunn for getting rid of him.
