My Thoughts On The Song/Chart: I haven't played RR in quite a while and decided to try out the DLC songs from the Benami track pack. I was very intrigued by this as i've played DDR and love the original music and i wasn't shocked to see how good some of the Konami Original songs were. This tune is a hard rock female led version of a tune that also appeared in DDR.
This song sounds a little generic at first but After 2:39 the song gets a lot more heavy and metal sounding. It's a great and fun tune overall, and makes you wonder if Rock Revolution would have had more appeal if it focused primarily on Konami original music and not the lackluster cover recordings that we got. It surely wouldn't have sold as well but it would have been a better product overall IMO if so. Bemani music is AWESOME!
First Strum Burst: 1:18 (Comes Out of seemingly Nowhere, aside from the surprise, it's not too bad.
Slowdown: 2:14 (Arguably the hardest part of the song, as the strum engine is a little wacky with slowdowns and it's too fast to down strum.)
Guitar Solo: 3:07 (Multiple fast Strum Bursts and random force strums. Fast strumming isn't too bad on this engine but it changes speed a little and can throw you off.)

"My Only Shining Star" is a song from Konami's Bemani music video game division. The song was first made available for DanceDanceRevolution SuperNOVA in 2006. The song would also appear inbeatmania IIDX 14 GOLD. DanceEvolution ARCADE. and DanceMasters / DanceEvolution.
A Rock arrangement by Kuro or Daisuke Kurosawa would appear as DLC for "Rock Revolution"
This Bemani track pack was the only DLC made available for Rock Revolution alongside a Pantera Track Pack.
