Hello thanks for taking your time to read this :) Im djx1100 this is a remake of my first channel djx1100 hencing the REBORN part. Im open to fan suggestions and constructive criticism. If you want to be in one of my videos, dont be shy to ask to be in one. We can work things out.
Wait a minute, this was used as the opening theme to the localized version of Saint Seiya? The same "Caballeros del Zodiaco" del cual we're talking about!? Never knew that lol. No wonder why it flopped so hard in North America. I think only Latin america (the place where I'm from) was able to make this franchise popular. Other than that, the cover sounds cool enough, I guess.
I think I like "Karma Police" a bit more (which I got to hear a bit more recently thanks to the pretty great Pierce the Veil cover), but yeah, this is still a nice, iconic Radiohead song.
It hurts a bit seeing those solos undercharted. But other than that, yeah, pretty great song all things considered. Shame this game didn't have a lot of dlc now if you think about it.
Also, wondering if there is a link anywhere to download this. And this also is a dumb follow up question. Is there a way to get rid of the audience sing along in this song?
Yeah, I know this was going to be confusing the moment the console version already had a song called "Believe", which is not from the same band too (that one's more recognizable tho). On the other hand, I understand them having a different AAR song since "Dirty Little Secret" already appeared in one of the previous DS Guitar Hero games.
Always loved this song, definitely among my favorites from this album along with Like Eating Glass Was half-expecting a strum lane at the 39% mark of the solo lmao, would have actually been a really good fit with the effect there

Well, this takes me back! When I was going for the full 5-Stars in this game on Bass, I think this song was the second one I did after "Blood Doll", included in the first 10-song session (that also included tracks like "Ballroom Blitz", "Vasoline", "Cherub Rock", "Learn to Fly", and "Go with the Flow"). This song wasn't too hard, though one I got to the solo, I got a little tripped up as I didn't see it coming (this was basically a sightread for me). However, I unexpectedly hit that run at 2:47 when I wasn't even planning on it, which I think got me the 5-Star. Overall, it's a pretty fun song on Bass, even if it doesn't start picking up until the second half.
Yeah, I think I also prefer the GH3 cover, even if I wished they got the original (Black Sabbath for FNF maybe?). Didn't notice this version felt a little bit slower, so maybe that's why, and because of the BRE lol.
Funny how I feel that the fast strumming look easier to pull off here than in RB, especially RB1 (which IIRC had a tad bit more stricter engine than the next games, and definitely didn't have hyperspeed at all, just like GH1). I understand why you would struggle doing this song on RB1, on the PS2 nonetheless. Saying since there were other songs that had fast strumming parts with way more notes (I think two songs from this very game come to mind: Assassin and La Bamba). But man, is it just me, or does this chart look too simple now? I'm refering to the fact this song has a lot of HOPO's despite not being a fast song. Even if this appeared in FNF, where there are no extended sustains like there were in GHWT onwards, I feel this chart would have less HOPO's.
Yeah, as far as charts go, I would say the GH:M and FNF are far better than this. They're charted more accurately and much more fun than this one. Then again, this one is like 17 years old lol, so there were obviously some things that improved over time. Still, it's surprising that we ended up getting Metallica songs in FNF at this point in time imo, mainly because thanks to GH:M, both the Metallica songs that were in RB1 and RB2 ended up being non-exportable and the ones they had as dlc were delisted right when RB3 was the latest RB game.
Damn, didn't remember this song getting difficult on bass at the end lol. Also, is it just me or did FNF not censor this song at all? That's surprising.
