Hello Josh. Great reviews as usual! I have the Grand falls pressure washer that attaches to the supplied bracket. My friend has borrowed it multiple times and plans to make a purchase of his own. He uses mine to wash trash containers, clean garage floors and patios along with outdoor walls on his rental property. Just wanted to share this with you and your viewers. Take care Sir! Just another day in paradise!
Thank you and I don’t doubt it! I think the new g20 got great results at a great price. I also like the 65’ hose on that one for my personal needs! Keep it up!!
Hey Josh, I never liked Obsession Garage and and I saw that video he made. The guy is so negative and arrogant and smug. I unsubscribed from his channel and stopped watching his videos. All of the things he sell are way over priced for the average car guy anyway. I do appreciate your honest videos on products. I was on the fence about buying a pressure washer from Giraffe. If I had a RU-vid channel I'd definitely buy one and give my honest review. I think it a great company. actually my wife wants a hose reel for her garden. I'll have to look and see if they have any.
I purchased a Giraffe G-20 with the gray hose (more money than the G-20 with the black hose) based on Josh's review and I really like it. Having an all-in-one unit is much easier than having all separate components. Take into account that I'm not a pro detailer and use the unit a couple times a week, so ultimate performance isn't necessary for me. Thanks for all you do Josh.
Awesome! Yeah for diyer it’s a great all in one option. I don’t use it in my professional rigs but I do have it mounted at my house where its. It getting used throughout the day 5-6 days a week. My wife loves it to cause it’s so easy to use and put away.
@@imjoshv Josh, I received something that I think is a scam--a notification that said it was you and for me to text a number because I had a gift waiting. Wanted you to be aware.
@@archiepezek Thanks Archie, i did a giveaway in my. last video and then this happens every time after. Its a bummer that scammers try to take advantage.. Thank you for letting me know. I report them as fast as I can!
I went with the active 2.0 because of your review! And I love that thing. Works amazing with the mjjc v3 and the 50ft Uber flex! 🤘🏼thank you for great content!
I received the basic Grandfalls unit as a gift from my neighbor. The unit was shipped from Amazon and broken on delivery. The unit was replaced and starting using it back in May of 2023. It's in stalled in building under cover but not in a climate controlled space. The unit just had some sort of electrical failure. I was using it to wash my vehicle. I was using a foam cannon and the unit started smoking and presented burning plastic smell. I am in the process of trying to get a replacement, going ok thus far. I am considering just upgrading to the Plus+ unit for the better hose. Based on this review, I really don't see a reason to upgrade to the Pro. I have enjoyed the ease of use to clean cars and tractor equipment. I have a gas power Stihl unit for other more demanding uses. I hope the next unit I get holds up better than 5-months before burning up again...time will tell.
I think these pressure washers from giraffe tools might just be hurting Matt’s bottom line 😂😂 he called them straight garbage the psi rating and gallons per minute he claimed to get We’re way off compared to my testing also! Dude publicly stated he don’t wash his hands after taking a leak hate to imagine how many people shake his hand daily🤣🤣 and says Corvette is one of the worst cars ever made. Dude is a sales man that try’s to come off as a honest and reliable influencer and that just ain’t the case! Josh you are definitely one of the more honest influencers when it comes to auto detailing and product reviews out there that’s why I watch you 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The pressure washers on obsessed garage are on another level and work amazing! I have a kranzle in my shop set up.. But they are expensive and not everyone can justify an electric pressure washer at that price so I try to show other options that are more affordable and communicate the good and bad of them as much as I can.
So glad you did this. I was going to respond, but decided Matt just likes to hear himself talk and he is trying to sell products he has on OG . I already have videos on all their products and they wanted me to sign a contract as well with the G20 I said no and they ghosted me so I bought it anyways. G20 is the all in one product to get for sure. Pro is way overpriced that’s for sure.
Thanks keav! Yea the g20 at the price is a great option. The products he has on his site are fantastic but less expensive options aren’t bad and like you know, are much more attainable for most people
That G20 seems sweet for the money. I put a 4x4 in a concrete footing out front of my house. I put a retractable hose real on it and left space for something like this. I think ill get it and just pull it off like the hose reel in the winter. Seems like it would be an awesome set up
I was about to replace my SunJoe with one of these wall-mounted units (Giraffe has been flooding my IG feed). Thanks for this review...I think I'll look for another model!
Good review. The ++ seems like a decent option for a homeowner who wants to mount this thing somewhere and be able to literally reach all around their home. In that way this would actually have been a option to consider for me before I got my setup. I'd lose a little on the car wash specs, but gain in being able to run out that hose and get it anywhere around my home instead of lugging my PW around. The price isn't terrible. To get a similar setup piecemeal you would need to get the $100 Ryobi, a 100 foot hose, and a retractible reel, which last I checked the rock bottom cheapest option was $180 but is on a long backorder and will probably be more expensive when it comes back. So going piecemeal you're already getting close to $380.
Awesome work Josh, great recommendations as usual. I have the lottle Ryobi thing paired with an Uberflex hose on an amazon air hose reel, based on one of your previous videos. Little green thing refuses to die 😂
Thanks for all your reviews. I've tried three PWs you have reviewed, and for each one I got lower numbers than you and I can't figure out why. I'm on a 20 amp circuit so I know power isn't the issue, and definitely have plenty of water flow. But at least I know I have the best option for me for the money because of your reviews, plus a cheap retractable hose option.
lol, Im pretty sure Matt at OG said you are an idiot if you buy them multiple times so i laughed when you opened with your sentence. btw, your test are awesome
I bought the plus and used it for a few jobs and didn’t mind it, but I didn’t think it rinsed out heavy dirt as well as my greenworks pro did. I also had some issues with the hose reel and the washer didn’t put out the gpm I was expecting either. I ended up returning and getting an active 2.0 and it’s been excellent. Much quieter and much higher cleaning power.
Nice review! I've been watching multiples of your videos and other and trying to figure out what to do?! Let say I want a setup with a 100' hose to wash my cars, dirt bikes and clean around the house, what would you recommand? I don't want the very expansive units. Thanks!
Hi Josh, the Giraffe hose is 50% cheaper than the Uberflex. Should I consider it for that price? Or Yamatic/Amazon would be better for a budget hose to install on a reel? Thank you for the great videos!
My biggest question is longevity, I'm setting up a small car wash bay in a small town of 300 and I don't want put out the $45k to set up a bay with all the professional stuff, I'm looking at using the pro because it has a good service life and I'm just wondering how it performs over time and if maybe there is a way to get more out of it with a little modifications
Quick question for power washer hose.. how do I upgrade to one of those flexible washer hoses? I have a (sunjoe) pressure washer with the built in hose already attached to it. I want to upgrade to a better one with a simple plug and play. What would you recommend? Thnx josh! Love all the content you post on here 🙏
Longer hose = drop in pressure. I own a painting company. With my pressure washers AND paint sprayers ($5000 paint sprayers) I run my lines in 50ft sections. I use as little hose as possible for the job in order to keep pressure high enough to clean properly and to atomize my paint properly. Being stuck with 100ft of hose on a dinky electric pressure washer would drive me bonkers.
I paid for 2 units 4 weeks ago and still awaiting delivery. I have tried to contact the seller with no luck. It seems I may have lost my $840 and no units . It is very disappointing . BEWARE.
Hi Josh, I've just watched your video on these power washers and I have a question. I'm running similar nozzles on a MTM SGS35 gun from a Karcher K5 unit. The power washer won't power on with a nozzle in the gun, but if I run it without a nozzle it comes on fine. Do you think the hole in the nozzles could be too small, not allowing enough flow to activate the motor? I didn't know until watching your video that they came with different dia's. Measuring the red 0 degree nozzle, I think mine are 1.25mm. thanks, Andy
Hello, I've owned 2 of the units. Although they have both worked well (when working) they both failed. The first one had an internal leak and Giraffe tools replaced it. My replaced unit failed about 4 months later, it seems that he pump failed, there was noice but no pressure. Giraffe tools pretty much told me to pound sand because the original unit was out of warranty. They didn't give me a new warranty with the new power washer. Personally, buying something that only last less than a year isn't worth their price. Very disappointed
Great video as usual Josh once again I am getting a text saying with your picture that you have a gift for me this was the giveaway for the Cat pressure washer
yea im sorry these scammers are really annoying. I try to report those as soon as i see them but they pop up fast. ill be announcing the winner of the CAT pressure washer soon
Bought one and after the 3rd time using it it's dead, no reply from them either, I have reset the plug multiple times have green light but the switch does nothing it will not turn on anymore.
Do you ever use a "Rinseless Wash"? If so, which one? These days, I wipe my car down with DI water or ONR when it is dirty. My car is covered, so I only wash it every 3-4 weeks. Thanks Josh.
I must say it’s sort of funny how so many people take and use OG opinions as if his word holds much weight as if he is some sort of expert in the detailing industry. Don’t get me wrong…he runs a successful retail business but that doesn’t mean he possesses the type of skill or knowledge compared to someone like Larry@MMO.
Larry is a true professional and even though I’ve been detailing professional for about 19 years I still love watching his stuff! Seems like a super nice guy as well
Its a little bit higher but the AR630tss... But there are some new options in that price range coming to market soon! Active has a new one, BigBoi has some coming as well
I honestly did not watch his test. I watched the video he posted talking about it… I know the actual test we done in a “live” video and I did not see that one.
This dude did the same thing by shooting water in a bucket. The difference is that josh somehow doesn't actually weigh the bucket and just read the markings on a bucket and who knows how accurate they are
@@kimjung2442 that’s a very fair concern and I had the same… whenever I buy a new bucket I always test the markings by pouring in previously measured gallons to make sure it accurate. I’ve had some in the past that were off but the marking on this one are pretty spot on!
What nozzle do you recommend for the 1800psi Ryobi electric pressure washer?? I feel the ones that come with it doesn't put out as much water as I want. Thanks.
How do these compare with the top of the range karchers? Looking to replace mine for home care and patio use, but don’t want to be down on power vs my old karcher k5
Also just realised we don’t the plus or pro in the U.K. just the standard grandfalls pressure washer - not sure it’s worth it as we pay 350 usd for that unit. But how much of a real difference is there with the base one to the plus and pro?
Hey Josh. I'm curious if you cvould test the PPM of the spotless rinse setting at coin operated car washes for us to see. Most wash that way, so it would be really good for viewers! Thank you!!!
Thank you for this video. I really wanna get one of these for the all-in-one aspect, hose length, auto reel, enough power to clean my walkway and patio, AND wash the cars and these look great, then I saw the obsessed garage video and I was bummed. I'm sure he knows what he's talking about, but he's super condescending. Anyone selling three wash buckets for $300+ is a douche IMO.
@@555fourthstreet8 he's very particular on what he likes. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.. I trust his judgement and made purchases off his recommendations
I have to say the stuff that he recommends is typically fantastic. Cox reels, kranzle pressure washers, etc.. they are very expensive though and I always look for the best in lower priced items. I grew up without much money so I always try to help show off inexpensive items that get the job done! These two pressure washer are not inexpensive at 380 and 600 ha but I just wanted to add my opinion in on these!
The products he likes are fantastic! But I try to communicate my opinion for those that can’t afford some of the higher end higher priced items. I grew up without a lot of money so I try to look for the best in budget options
I actually have the plus+ for my mobile detailing business. I didn't watch the full Obsessed Garage review because he came off like a little b**ch that was but hurt over a possible sponsorship gone array.
There is almost no reason to buy these over the Active 2.0 and if you just absolutely have to have an integrated hose reel I would just get some random Ryobi, Greenworks, etc. for way less money. These are pretty much garbage products.
The active 2.0 would be my choice as well. However the less expensive options like the new g20 from giraffe are decent for someone who wants an easy all in one option. I installed the cheaper one at my house and my wife will use cause it’s so easy to use and put away especially for clean ups around the house. But especially for detailing cars the active 2.0 is the best budget choice around for sure
@@imjoshv Just watched your video on the G20 and yeah that seems like a much better product in the Giraffe line-up as it offers that all in one mounting like you said. I still think the pump performance is a little weak but if it gets the job done and makes up for it in convenience then that's something.
@ArnageInFL no I don't like the units. You can do better and get better results, with less money with something else. If you already have one, go with it. But these units are expensive.
@@kimnewling5728 yeah I think that’s exactly what Josh said isn’t it? He was more so just showing that the normal plus unit (cheaper one) isn’t as bad as some people have made it out to be. I guess everyone’s idea of what “junk” is differs though
@ArnageInFL probably. I think he was being polite so as not to offend owners of units. If folks are in the market for a pressure washer, they should do a little research before buying. I wish I had!
Lol. That is the dumbest thing ever using two pw’s but yeah like you said the OG crowd is different. Have to admit it’s somewhat humorous that the group is called “obsessed” when it’s members just seem to go with whatever they are told to go with.
Hey Josh, We love your videos, tried reaching out to your email thats in your YT profile but we got a bounce back. What's the best email to reach you at?
