In this video, I go over a few thoughts I have about Pathfinder 2nd Edition, and my thoughts on its pros and cons with respect to the various editions of Dungeons and Dragons that I've personally played.
Pathfinder actually has a science fantasy cousin called Starfinder. Paizo is dropping Starfinder 2e soon, and when they do I think it'll give a much better chassis for a Fallout campaign than 5e/OneDND would.
@@szegediadam8793 Thanks! Unfortunately, I didn't get to play it for long because my group was already crumbling at that point, and they were just trying a new system out to try and recapture some spark. It didn't work. 😔
@@chameleonx9253 for each their own. For our group Pf2 is the main system. We played 5e for years, but it felt realy samey and broken after a while. We tried pf2, when it first came out, and we instantly switched. Later we played some 5e a couple of times again, but it felt so boring we rather converted that gm too to the paizo side XD
So... your sound effects are much louder than the voices & when you switch from one character to another the voices are not always at the same level in volume which makes some harder to hear than others. Which is only an issue when you turn up the volume & then suddenly a loud bang sound effect is added making it difficult to hear the voices afterwards because your ears or brain have attempted to adapt to the loud sound.
@@chameleonx9253you’ll get there. Most editing software has a way to normalize your audio so that it is all at the same level. I’d just look up a tutorial for normalizing audio for whatever editing software you’re using.

@@chameleonx9253 Basically I was wondering if you'd be willing to let me rewrite it; I ask since although i love the concept and how you explored it, I had a few issues with it and generally thought it could be expanded upon even more than it does in the article. Given the fact that you already rewrote it once, and the last comment you made on the wiki was also about rewriting another SCP, I thought "I might as well ask him". I get it if you're unsure about my ability to actually rewrite it; if i send you a draft and you don't think it's an improvement I can just go and work on something else. EDIT: sorry about the late reply btw, i'm making dinner atm
@@erminustay Yeah, go ahead. The intent with the rewrite was to establish that there was this other world the ice came from where physics works differently (e.g. matter freezes when it's hot and melts when it's cold, etc), and to also subtly imply that this portal between the worlds was open, and that any number of other SCPs could possibly result in a containment breech if they came in contact with it and then escaped. Incidentally, I personally like to call SCP-009 "Gorefrost." Get it? 😁

Just want to ask you one more thing; I wanted to put the exploration log in the main file rather than have it be it's own page, since I think it'd flow better that way, however this'd obviously mean deleting the original exploration page; would you be fine with that? Unfortunately I don't get the reference… I think it's much more fun name than red ice though! When I'm done I'll send it to you on the wiki!
