Yeah like $10 for my order cool some extra for delivery cool then boom a lot more extra fees for using the app like fees that cost more than even the delivery that’s where I’m like woah wtf ive been using the apps for a long time and noticed they took advantage of the pandemic and raised the prices I used to order out a lot but now they lost my business because of that and that’s why I now only use the apps when I get big coupon codes where I basically just pay what it would have costed to go myself
When I worked for Domino's there had been times where people said "if it wasn't for the delivery charge I would tip more" and it's like only $1 or 2 for tip. Delivery charge was $4 when I joined August of 2017 (min. wage $11.25./hr). It stayed the same until we got a new owner in July 2018 (min. wage $12.00/hr), then it creeped up 50 cents at a time literally every few months, and it's $5.99 when I left (min. wage $12.50/hr). Today the fee is still $5.99 (now min. wage is $13.25/hr). In that time the mileage reimbursement pay only went up 3 cents per mile in the whole time I worked there (from 23 cents to 26 cents), and that was before any delivery charge increases occursed.
One thing i learned is that tip culture is verry verry different from one place to another, and generally europeans don't tip a lot compared to americans, like there is a real big difference in tip culture between those 2 regions
Yes I understand that not EVERYONE has to tip. But listen, when you deliver a $40+ order, and you receive nothing, it sucks. A lot of people say “oh you got the delivery fee, so I don’t need to tip.” The delivery fee is NOT A FUCKING TIP!!!! I work at Dominos, our fee is $3.25, I receive $1 from that fee. It also all depends on your location and what’s going on. If I forget something, I tell the customer I’ll be right back with the missing item. Those of you saying that tipping doesn’t matter, probably means you’re not a delivery driver, and you don’t tip your own delivery drivers.

@slobbyx so your parents giving you room and board isn't enough? Just curious because my mom cleaned houses and i helped her as often as I could when i wasn't in school. So this kid works in his parents sandwich shop and doesn't expect pay and that's a joke?? Sounds like a hero to me but maybe we have different ethics.
@@roberttodd619 Its weird because he should be trying to move out of his parents house and become an independent adult.. I doubt his parents are putting away money towards moving out and savings. He is going to remain complacent going no where doing this.
@@cahzinarx904 I assume he's making money from RU-vid and if he is, with his views it seems likely he's making more than his parents. That's just speculation but yeah
I watched him when he came out with his first subway story, it's an addictive channel, you listen to one story then you wanna listen to another one. Literally my favourite channel.

I hope Milad becomes the next big "face" of Subway. Like, for primetime commercials and whatnot. Such a relatable fellow (as I also work in food/beverage production/service), I love watching these short clips when I get off work. I haven't had Subway in ages, yet after watching these short clips, and hearing Milad's passion, I got myself a Subby Sando and MAN, it was good. Deffo gettin' another one xD. Keep the love comin', Mr. Mirg. With love from Seattle.

I feel this so much. After becoming a delivery driver, I started tipping so much better because I had gained a new awareness of how much work it is to make a living on tips
as someone who has done delivery, in Australia, a lot of rural properties were in the middle of nowhere, so hard to find that was a big issue for us, also most drivers here earn a low wage and also live on tips, its one of the only jobs that's tips here in oz, that being said smallest tip i ever got was 5 cents no joke and the largest was $80 on a 520 dollar order (there about)
@@LegoCityFilms it's not a Rickroll but it takes you to a RU-vidrs channel and him saying to share and like so it's advertising also its LUKE DOES STUFF It's celebrating 1000 subs

I can’t believe I’m addicted to a guy who makes the type of food I don’t like, and tells stories. I think I’ve gone insane (Please don’t attack me for not liking sandwiches .-.)
Aint my problem you gotta drive certain amount of miles, i already pay for the delivery and the stuff i ordered, tip isnt obligatory, if i feel like youre doing a good job i might tip, you need to earn it.
Just saying, you’re awesome. Good content, hard working in a hard job, patient towards punching bags, and awesome costumer service. You deserve all the tips. (Free cookiesss!)
Thank you for bringing this up. I tried to grind the delivery driving jobs just because I was really desperate at one point but I’m pretty sure with all the gas and mileage on the car that it’s more like losing money.
Some people have been doing youtube for over 10 years and haven't breached the million subscribers mark. Milad got to in in less than ONE MONTH. I hope you realize how insane this growth is. The future for youtubers like Milad, to acquire exsplosive growth is just beginning. Good job :)
