What you like is what you like, Creed shows always are fun alot people love them. Nothing against AB but no comparison. Creed is Hall of Fame band.. AB is just good band. AB fans are odd bunch. They have short man Syndrome 😂😂😂 why they always trying to compare.
This is so fkn great. You can hear the band... you can hear CREED. No offence to Scott's solo band but their Creed songs just dont match up to the real band. Scott sounds great, the band sounds great... this is Creed (finally).
In 1999 I was a freshman at the University of Colorado and my dorm roommate worked for the student events. Creed was headlining with 3 Doors down and Our Lady Peace. Creed took so long to go on to stage I almost left but then the lights shut off and Scott Stapp Smashed the entire field house at CU Boulder. I was hooked. Probably still one of the best vocal performances I've ever seen.
Man this is kinda getting me a little emotional seeing the Bois on stage, god!! What a great time to be alive and loving Creed!!! Alter bridge was never my thing and I love Brian’s bass playing
Damn they sound so good…I watched these guys live at the Alaska state fair in 2012 and they killed it back then and to hear them now the professionalism and chemistry shows that’s why there the goats
Everybody talk Stapp-Tremonti's explosive duo. No doubt, Mark is a Guitar-God and Scott voice still gives the chills. BUT most people ignore the other two dudes. IMHO Scott Philips drums style is what gave and continues to give Creed/Alter Bridge that perfect signature sound. There's can't that "creed heavy metal post-grunge in your face" sound without Flips and Marshall supporting the band with their formidable skills and somehow these two always go unnoticed.
So damn happy to see these boys back at it. This is the Scott Stapp that wasn't there 12 years ago. They've always been a great band. I dont give a damn about what the media or what critics say. Creed is 🔥
You clearly missed his methed out videos when he was homeless claiming the FBI took his money and the prior creed reunion when he sounded like a wounded seal.
Man I remember 1999 playing with Pokémon cards in elementary school and creed was huge on the radio, good times and good to see them back together, I feel like his voice doesn’t have that power and rasp like in the early days but still sounds good but more soft spoken
Dude, real guitar amps sound so much better than amp sims. Even in this video, recorded on a camera phone presumably, Mark isn’t even playing through particularly expensive amps and it STILL sounds better than 100% of the digital amp sims that almost everyone uses on the circuit nowadays. Actual guitar tone is one of those things that got lost as midi, in-ears, stage volume concerns and click tracks took over.
When this came out I told all my friends that Pearl Jam’s new album creed was the best thing that they ever did. Then to learn it was a whole other band lol. Oh well it’s all good
Wow! This sounds better than the album! Marks vocals have definitely improved over the years with him singing a few songs in Alter Bridge, his solo stuff and Sinatra. Can't wait to see Creed in July!
I'd love it if Scott would fill in for Eddie Vedder's live voice. Vedder's voice just doesn't sound as great as it did early on naturally but Scott would kill it.
They haven’t played the second half of the first verse since ‘02, this is just incredible to see Edit: I love the fact that Scott messed up at the end and went way too early with it but the band had his back and rolled with it
Last live stuff I’ve watched of them together is AOL Sessions. Years later I’m first seeing this now…they still sound absolutely fantastic. Truly great sounding band. Scott is sounding healthy and well as ever. Really floored seeing them back together. I’ve always believed they needed to get back together 🔥
