First of all I’m not restricting myself to Asian families exclusively, and even if I did, there are several cases of children deserting their parents in Asian households too. As you have so much time to mock someone you can easily read about it. And since all the families in your world consists only of Asian , perhaps it’s not even your fault, to see the world from a narrow lens. Besides you talking about people deserting their parents thats also a fact But just check the ratio how many children are under the parental influence and how many are otherwise (our country's). If children here would have been so careless about their parents than maximum of the youths would not have been preparing for any competative exams because it's their parents dreams. From marriage to career the major decision of life are being taken by parents and children dare not to say a thing . And you are talking about children being embarrassed about them !?
