Northeast people are great people kind,generous and very welcoming .Kudos to you guys .I always make a trip to Humayunpur village whenever I'm in Delhi to meet my friends and eat Naga food.

Never found an Arunachali that doesn't like 'APER POMER.' It is an evergreen song.

Just wanna say this from core of heart that, being a fellow Indian , I'm proud of you guys because of the nature and feeling of wholesomeness Northe eastern people give to fellow Indians❤. It doesn't matter how some people gets education or from what developed coty they are, THERE ARE PEOPLE ALWAYS who are going to pass such comments anywhere about anyone, not just only being only manipuri, arunachali, assamese, naga, mizoram, meghalaya, tripura. But we too beed to be kind and gracefully break those stereotypes too. More love and no sympathy but empathy ❤

i am from assam N.E and currently i am living in vijaynagar as well for my studies... my experience outside the college campus was terrible... the first time i stepped foot in delhi n took the metro from airport.. ppl grope me... rickshaw that charged other people 15rs asked me to pay him 100rs.. and when i said i wont he started screaming at me... its been 9 months in delhi and i still face racism everyday but haa gladly i got good people on my side too... so far uttrakhand people treated me the best

People from North-East are the best person's I have met till now♥. I'am not from north-east but my heart belongs from that place for sure.. I think every thing about north-east is best like nature, friendly people, culture , food and many more😌.. Once you been there that must come to your one of the most beautiful places.. I've tons of good talks about north-east and I love that part of India a lot❣❣. I LOVE EVERY STATES OF NORTH-EAST💖💗❤‍🔥❤

Im from Uttarakhand, though i don't have sharp mongoloid facial features but I've faced some stereotypical comments about people of Uttarakhand which are irritating. Sometimes people make us feel like we are totally different and do not belong to this land because pf slightly different culture. This is how delhi is you'll find all kind of people some will make you feel terrible while others will support you. Stay strong my NE friends. 👍✨❤

I belong to NE but I have been living in Uttar Pradesh ever since I was born and people here are so nice that I never felt like I was someone from different part of the country even though it's true some people are racist towards me but most of them are not, in my case

You are doing a very 👍 job. It's high time people should realise that we are citizens of one country. Discrimination on the basis of north-east Indian, south Indian etc will help our enemy countries.

For instance I've seen in Punjab, they call UP / Bihar people bhaiyye( derogatory wordin Punjab). North discrimination against North. In hills we discriminate many saying ये देसी कहां से आ गया। North Indian who can't speak kannada in Banglore being discriminated. We need more inclusiveness, we need to open more. I believe someday education will change things. And we will enjoy our differences. It's always fun to know different cultures/ languages/ festivals. Well , everybody like their home place. I m from delhi whenever i visit nepal because my mom from there , i like beauty of nature over there , but i feel like home is home. When i came to delhi i realize somethings which can in only avialable here, cheap transport , you can go anywhere anytime bcz public transport avialable 24/7. Cheap food , divsersity , free top class health care system , home freinds. But yeah from nature point of view we r nowwhere in front northeast or my home town. But i heard that northeast has great potential to become tourism hub becuase of its natural beauty , unique tribal culture. It is most diverse place in whole souteast asia.

Being a indian from Bengal i always love my NE Bros and sisters.. They are so friendly... They have manners... They follow the rules... And so humble people... Don't throw garbage in roads... Like we do.... I want to say my NE brothers or sisters if some third class guy make Racisial comments on you just ignore them... Those are just uneducated chapri people...we don't consider them one of us....those who make bad comments are only 5_10% ... There are so many peoples who loves you.. Like me... Love from Haryana❤️ north india need to be more civilized, aware and educated. Education system mainly schools have no curriculum for personality training or ethic building. People coming from small villages/towns/cities of UP, Raj, haryana etc to Delhi have no culture knowledge of northeast though they learn by time but we need more inclusive programs atleast at school level.

Life is very complicated in a city like Delhi with crores of population. I am from Nagaland and I had been to Delhi for a number of times. It is true that we are discriminated because we look different from others. Back here in NE life is somewhat simple living in small cities. NE people there in Delhi or other large cities are also learning to adapt themselves with city people. I think it is very important for us to have adaptability with people of the city in which we are living or visiting it makes a big difference from being unable to.We should learn to understand and respect their culture. It cannot be denied that racism and communal fanaticism are present everywhere in India. Bad people, rowdies, harsh people, ignorant, criminals, thieves, pimps and so on are also operating. Thus we should be aware and be on the safe side. However, we still find that some good people out there who love us and support us. I extend my gratitude to all who love, like, and support NE indians in Delhi or whatever city it is. I am proud to be a NE Indian and proud to be an Indian.

Staring and looking are very different things, sometimes people are just tryna process from where the hell he must be from, i am from NCR region so i already met quite a lot north eastern people but when i moved out of my home for studies in delhi, while using delhi metro i got to know how diverse delhi really is, met north eastern, bengali and every state you could think of. Tho i didn't stared at all, just looked and thought from which state this guy/girl must be from.
