Thank God for pastor David Wilkerson messages. Even though he's not here he's still a felt to a lot of people yet. I know he's helped me a lot over the last 9 months. My Transportation was down for a long time couldn't go to church and this is really help me. More help than being in church. Because you won't hear his messages in church like that. I thank God for his awesome messages I know the lord gave them to him.

I loved my sin (at least took it lightly) when I was in rebellion. One time, I heard a preacher say that you could pray, "I want to want to follow You." So I did that, and it was a long time before I came back to God through the process of curse breaking using a book by Bob Larson called Curse Breaking, and the Lord helped take that bent toward backsliding away. Now I've received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and He now helps me to even prepare and preach the sermons I preach on Tuesday nights. He can do this for anyone reading this comment too. God bless!

This message convicted me. Give you a little bit of background so you can understand. I am a born again believer of 11 years now. I have 2 things in my life that I believe I have been personally convicted of by the Spirit. I have a hobby… I’m a sleight of hand artist. With this, I had several packs of cards and three books on sleight of hand. Whenever I had the books in the house, I felt convincted. And also I weight training regularly and started taking preworkout energy supplements (powder). I had probably 11 total in my house. Many of them have questionable names… one such is “Apollon nutrition” which to me is literally “Apollyon” from Revelation 9:11. Also one of the labels had a grim reaper on it and one even had the Masonic compass on it trying to pass it off as a letter “A”. I literally just threw all of that out to the trash. It totals close to $2,000 worth of material. Part of me wishes I could have been patient and tried to gradually sell it. However, I had to do what I believed was correct. When he was talking in this sermon about Christians holding onto idols of the heart, I felt like this applied to me. Can anyone see this as any different than how I’ve handled it? I cant. I literally believe I can feel a burden or oppression lifted off me since I did it. I’m not going to let any friends or even family know because I know they will consider me a fool according to the wisdom the world teaches by which they operate. Did I do the right thing? I think I did… it just seems very extreme to some I know. People that I talk to about things like this try to act like there is a grey area that can be “played” or tampered with, but I, according to how I believe God is calling believers to separate from the world (idols included). Im literally not going to tell anyone because I know they’ll guilt me over it. This was between me and God and as David talked in the Private War of a Saint, I literally don’t think there is a single person I could call on the phone and explain the predicament I was in, then genuinely and completely listen to, and offer me sound, solid, mature and spiritual advice about it. Thanks in advance for anyone who had the patience to forbear my lengthy rambling. God bless everyone in Jesus name.

I praise the King of Glory, Jesus the Christ, our Messiah and Salvation! Truly, I praise Him for His wisdom& mercy; and for the heart He created in brother Wilkerson. He has been in Heaven for a while now& still from Heaven God speaks through Him in my life and many others! The Holy Spirit is a quickening Spirit! Thank you for posting, and I honor you for your obedience! All glory be to the God of Heaven!

Hi Chris at World Challenge... is it true David’s books are all out of print? There is so much truth and learning in them and we all chase around the world to find them and pay through the nose. It would be a real blessing if they were all available, especially as one day the internet won’t be available. The written word is permanent and available anywhere and anytime and much of what David writes is so relevant to this season. Thank you and God bless you and the team.
