I just got my 1st Zelos. 1st TRUE GMT, 1st meteorite dial, 1st 3 Time Zone watch. Congratulations! Fine channel ! I would gladly pay a premium for a true ETA 2824-2 so good on you. My Zelos set me back $629.00 but I was SO amazed I got it. Also, Steinhart used to make their watches with high end (90 series) ETA movements…another watch I lucked on. Has an ETA 2893-2 which is beyond awesome. I have been thinking about a Phoebus . Thanks for the thorough review!

All the pieces or brands you mentioned are all truly top notch can't go wrong type watch companies. I do wonder if Zelos will become the next Steinhart and soon begin the phase of upgrading all their movements and getting away from the NH35. Just a thought and something I ponder. If any micro brand is in the position to transition to higher grade movements, it would be zelos and their sales would not decline I don't think. If anything it may make their sale level up as to the likes of steinhart. Steinhart I've owned several of their Divers in my time and I could not agree more that they really to me have moved outside the Micro brand spectrum and are a bonefied independent high end luxury German fine watch company!

I agree! By The Way My Zelos is running a 4 hertz Miyota 9075 True jump hour. I will say, this is my 1st high beat Japanese movement and the winding on the Miyota is not uber smooth like either my Seiko NH-36 powered Islander or any Sellita or ETA that I have in my collection. Cheers!

@@jazzman5598 that miyota is a great hi beat alternative! It does feel a bit gritty when you wind it but I have the miyota 90 series an I'm trying to recall the actual movement number that's for my Seawolf Everfrost German made Diver with the power reserve. Out of all my divers that miyota 90 series hi beat movement is keeping the best time for me. When I first got my Seawolf Everfrost or any diver for that matter I always go to time.gov as it's the most accurate time or from what I have learned it so to be over my 20 plus years of dive watchin. It's keeping or holding at plus 2 seconds over a 7 full day span. Gaining only 2 seconds in 7 full days! That's nearly perfect! I think you will enjoy that miyota movement and it will once it settles in fast become your best all around automatic movement and possibly outdoing the ETA in many cases. I'm partial to Seiko and Japanese automatic movements. Mainly because Seiko is my favorite watch brand. Secondly, Seiko produces the most accurate automatic movement in the world which I've owned twice. That is the Spring Drive. Incredible and unbelievably accurate and perfectly smooth like butter. Love it. Thirdly, my heritage is Japanese. I'm part Japanese. My grandmother is full Japanese and is from Tokyo Japan. My late beloved mother was half Japanese so I'm a 4th Japanese. My tattoo that I keep under wraps whilst quite large covering my entire shoulder and right chest area that youd never know I have is a full based and themed true Japanese tattoo that actually says a couple words or symbols if you will in Japanese and it has deep meaning. I'm a huge Seiko and Seiko automatic movement fan. That Zelos GMT will end up being your best time keeping movement. Go to time.gove and sync your Zelos with time.gov and check it after 24 hours and see how many seconds fast or slow it is. Let me know what it comes back at. I bet it is no more than 5 seconds within 24 hours! Let me know!

@@TheDiveWatcher Hey Kashton? Don? lol 😂 I’m Michael out of the Deep South portion of Texas. Pleasure visiting with you. :-) I do a down & dirty check on all my new watches. In the wild, measuring time 10 days I got -2.7 seconds per day which is COSC all day so I am delighted with it right out of the box. Like all of us, I prefer fast over slow. I thought it was just me till YT! Anyway, I am always pleased to meet other enthusiasts in Watch world. Chris put out a vid very recently and it’s my exact watch. :-) I am hopeful that what I experience holds true: that as a few months to a year pass and the movement settles down it may become a little more accurate. Maybe my Miyota will smooth out to 2 seconds fast per week (WOW!!!) but I own nothing of a mechanical character that runs that well. I did just get that Weishee 1700 Time Grapher. That’s getting pretty nerdy 😂😜🤪 GBU & I have all the alerts etc turned on: Can’t wait for your next vid, Regards, Michael

@@jazzman5598 brother I'm not too terribly far from you as I'm located in Mississippi unfortunately lol. I am so ready to relocate back out of here again which I'm only back due to my mother being diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer over 5 years ago as I had relocated my appraisal practice to Birmingham AL and was there a little over a year when I received the call. Long to short my mother was given 3 months and by miracle battled terminal lung and bone cancer for 19 months which being my two year younger brother had passed at 36 a year and half prior to her death sentence I was her primary caretaker and no way I was leaving her side as live my life by loyalty, honor and respect and as well would not hesitate to die for those three words. Ended up costing me nothing short of everything to include my life and my very successful lucrative 18 year practice my life's work that afforded me all the high end divers that I today have not been able to produce the same monetary wealth I had all those years. So my collection is modest at best these days but after my 6 year journey back that I walked alone was impossible thus now I live impossibly and humbly. That's cool you have a time graph as I have been thinking about getting one myself. Yes Sir I do think after about 4 good months that movement will settle in and I bet it will end up gaining a second putting you at minus 1 and that will be considered perfection! Keep me posted! I have a video uploading now as I type this. I'm actually thinking about selling it. Let me know what you think. It should be up live in about 15 minutes. Hit me up in the comments! Talk soon man!

Hey brother! Great to see you man in the comments and thanks for your kind support. If I can be of help, message on Facebook anytime! You know I just thought of a guy from a while back that was wanting to sell me his Grey blue original Great Wall. I will see if I can locate his emails and reconnect with him and ask him if he still has it. I recall now that he had come down to $280. I'll do some digging for you and message you.
