Mr. Lee: Please don't change a thing. I have seen you in several formats, whether it's cars, watches, or what not. Your humble nature is inspiring. I love it! Thanks for being a good man.
Thanks David for another great video, British Racing Green (BRG) is iconic and dates back to the early 1900s, the Jaguar D-Type in BRG from the 1950s is the right car to pair with your green dial Oyster Perpetual.
I'm 6 mos late here, but I immediately thought of brg. I was thinking a astin Martin vanquish or db car. Either would certainly fit the bill for that green face.
Being a Rolex AD its not surprising to just see all the hardest watches to get from Rolex. Would love to see watches that you've been collection that aren't just the hype watches of right now.
Hey David!, love the video, I think that most of your viewers love watches (like me), It’s something so related to the passion for cars and could be nice if you keep doing this kind of content. Thanks to you and your team for making such cool work! 😎👍🏻
Hi David, I'm an English born Asian and just moved to the US recently I'm inspired by your videos and your collections. Thank you! On the green? Sorry, but I must say a green Porsche Carrera GT!! Not a Ferrari? No...a green GT...did they even make any?! I don't think so, but if there's anyone who could make it happen it's you. I've never seen one! Although I do admire your collection, I am more of a Porsche guy, and I saw you on the Jay Leon video regretting your sale of the Carrera GT, hence my answer!
I always enjoy the "watch pairing" part of your videos. I am a real sucker for the GMT, my favorite being the Batman. Rolex is beyond my budget, so I have an Omega Speedmaster and TAG Aquaracer's.....But some day I would like to get myself in a position where I could own a GMT.....Never say never!!
Would be great to see a little more in depth review where you go into the stories behind esch watch, why you chose that particular one, did it mark a special ocassion, etc.
Well the story is most likely: "ok this is a hot watch trading at 2x-3x retail, let me get HQ to ship it to me and I'll just hold onto it as part of my personal collection". Doubt you'll get any father son stories with these models.
I know that you collect Ferraris but if you want a car to match, either a Jaguar in British racing green, a Rolls or a Bently, or maybe a BMW M3 or M5. They make an amazing green color that would work perfectly. I think that the best alternative would be a vintage E-Type in British racing green. That is the purist's choice.
Best collection i've seen. The 3 best OP's and the best daytonas. If i had to save 3, the yellow and green OP and the white gold daytona with blue dial.
Lovely collection! my daily is the platinum yachtmaster with the sunburst blue dial, it's one of the most beautiful watches they made and I have never seen anyone else in NY and miami/ft lauderdale with one, are they more popular out in cali?
I just came across this video, and I'm sure by now you have solved the "pairing a green dial watch to a car" problem. But when it comes to green there can be only one, Aston Martin!
I'm been hoping to get the green OP for my wife, simply to match her Mini Cooper 60 years anniversary edition, not an exotics car, but a great match. But as you can imagine, finding the green OP at MSRP is close to impossible...
I think a British racing green car like the one Steve McQueen owned and I believe is at the Peterson Museum. That would pair very well with your green Rolex!
Hi David just wondering if your going to bid on Nigel Mansel's 89 Ferrari and 92 McLaren F1 cars at auction in Monaco. Beautiful and historic pair of race cars
Jaguar E-Type with British racing green paint job. It’s not that expensive car but it’s a legend and I think that watch will suites you nicely in that car.👍
I love the green rolex because it's so clean and doesn't scream look at me, look at me. Since it's green my first thought was a British sports car but the E type was a little too obvious and a DB5 is more known in Silver. The more I thught about it, if it was me, I'd pair this watch with a Green 2 door Range Rover Classic from the 70s. 80s, or early 90s.
I would reckon a 488 Pista in Green with yellow striping and gold wheels... Black interior with green accents to compliment the watch Definitely would stand out within the collection
Well, if you’re staying Ferrari, then a Monza SP2 would look good in green. Or if you go off brand, a merc AMG1 or an Aston or vintage Jag would be cool.
Green OP would look great with the Monza Dino. IMO both are very nice, but do not scream LOOK AT ME. They are both more subtle at the quick look of the eye, but when taking a closer look, they are more than what was expected.
Ooh, wish my Daytona was white faced. David, Ya need some nice leather band watches my friend. 🤷♂️ Low key casual but very classy and there’s some serious high end ones like all mechanical chrono’s
For a future car, an Aston Martin Valhalla in green. For a current car, an Aston Martin Vantage F1 edition in green. For a past car, a Jaguar XKE or E type in green. Have fun picking out a car!
I just saw this for the first time. I think the green watch would look best with a 1990 Testarossa. I saw one in Denver that was a dark green with a royal blue flake. I was so impressed by it that I still think of it...
Oh goodie goodie. I was wondering when we could see your fav watches. At what point in your car collecting did Ferrari start working with you more closely? Hearing this story would be facinating Also that green watch totally would fir the Dino
Back in the 70s they couldn't give the Daytonas away. I remember as a kid seeing then at a local mall, five Daytonas sitting there ON SALE for $350 a pop.
I know you are known for your Ferrari’s, but the Green dial would work well with an British Racing Green V12 Aston Martin DBS or Vantage ! In my opinion. Keep up the great work !
The green Rolex Oyster Perpetual would pair great with a Ferrari 296 GTB or Porsche 991.2 GT3 Touring / Porsche 992 GT3. Or just a Bentley Flying Spur / Continental
I think the best car you can pair that green dial OP is your 488 pista. It will look amazing because the red car the white middle stripe and the green dial will not only look nice but it will look like the italy 🇮🇹 Flag which is where the cars are made.
