I feel like the runway approach that the ducks make to the pond, needs like a bomber plane sound effect to go with. Maybe even a little 'Flight of the Valkyries" music too! lol 🦆🦆🦆
I love mallards. When I'm fishing here in the UK, often a mallard will lay down within a few feet away. I always take them some food. Those little blue gill crack me up. 👍
I had a stressful day today. I was glad to see you had a new video. A visit to your wonderful peaceful kingdom always brings me peace and calm. I do believe your videos are good for my health! Thank you for sharing your kingdom with us.
while he may not be their true dad, he still raised ever since they were eggs which is why they keep returning to the pond, for food and ove of their dad. Also don't be toxic
I agree with another poster. You should cut down a tree and throw it in for the turtles to sunbathe on. Just make sure to plant another couple trees after :)
Thank you for these videos. Been following for a couple years and just love what you do. So much crazy stuff these days your vids are a breath of fresh air and they make me smile. You rock!
This is an amazing project. I have been following up since the time of Garfield. Never imagined the way it has evolved. It has turned in one of my favorite RU-vid channels.
Glad to see your ponds are doing well, but I really think you should put a few more big items for all of those little fish to hide in and be able to thrive because once those bluegill get bigger, they're going to devour them fairly quickly. The best thing to do would be to find some kind of tree stump that you can excavate and then way down upside down so they can all live in the root system, but any large object will do. You also might want to start planning more lily pads because the ones you have don't seem to be growing very fast, and your pond is fairly opened to the elements in the hot sun that provides little relief in terms of shade.
That was really enjoyable. Your pond looks amazing. Was fun to watch the feeding of your animals. Would have been cool just to see the gars. The turtle, ducks, and other fish was awesome. Was fun to watch. Great video
I wonder if the ducks feel comfortable with you touching them. they obviously recognize you. the way the turtle swam off with the fish carcash was really funny
God I just love that you have a paddling of ducks on the ponds! I have a female duck that brings her new drake every year into my back yard after her babies have grown and left. They show up in June and hang out everyday at least once a day till early August. This is the 6th year in row she's come back to my yard. I of course have a nice clean kiddie pool and fowl scratch for them to eat at all times. The drake's love going in the pool, her not so much, she likes to drink from it, but she's more interested in eating lol. We've named her Sophia and we always just call him Drake since it's a new male every year. It so awesome to have them come every summer. They are amazing little creatures. I still to this day have no idea why she ever showed up that first year. But obviously since I bought her a pool and scratch to eat after she showed up the first time I guess she thought well this is cool, free food and fresh water! So here we are 6 years later and she still comes with her man every summer.
i can't wait for the seventh duck to return and reunite with it's siblings. the ducks know where home is, they just want to adventure here and there now.
Hello The Fish Whisperer, I've been watching your videos for a while the ponds ducks fish look awesome great job I have an interesting request if possible for the future Is it possible that you can set up a live stream cam sometime on the ponds so we can watch the ducks fly in anything else happens on the pond , If it's possible Thank you
Hey just recently found ur channel but it’s awesome seeing how they react to feeding and just how everything is coming together, but I was wondering how much did that pond cost without the fish?
How awesome is it that, by chance, the ponds have their own flock of ducks? When you were initially building the ponds, I never thought about ducks. But now that the ducks are there, I feel like the ponds would be incomplete without them. Now all you need is a mating pair of cranes or storks.
I'm not sure, but I think if you hand nesting storks on the property, you're not allowed to go within a certain amount of distance as to not disturb the nest. Could make feeding all the different pets needlessly complicated.
