Will wait for the next video. Coz I want to know about packages offered. If a guy is not selected in any of the company what will happen to his career. Any PSUs or govt company visits?

Mostly everyone got selected, if not they can go for off campus. Nope PSUs won't come. They recruits thorough Gate.

You have done M Tech at IISC, which means you have very good rank in Gate. After M Tech you must have good job offer. Then why did you decide to do PhD at IISC? I am asking this as I am confused in my career and need some guidance. Please reply with genuine answer.

Sir did tech companies allow BS in mathematics undergraduate at iisc bangalore to sit for placements???? If someone want to become software engineer can he opt for this course??

I havenot seen such cases much. Most of the BS students go for foreign MS. But if they want to sit for placement and if some companies thinks he/she suits for the job, they will allow them for sure.

Sir I want to know will it be good to choose MTech in Aerospace engineering after doing civil engineering or should I continue in civil. And what are placements opportunity in both department.

One of my friends did mtech in aerospace and btech was in civil. He said me in aerospace there is better scope in terms of placement.

@@sauravsingh8356 my friend is doing phd in CSE, after mtech he worked for a year under a professor in CSE and moved to cse now. He recommended you to do mtech in CSE if possible. But even in aerospace also there are opportunities in usa for phd if you do good work in mtech.

First of all there is no BTech in IISc. Secondly, if you do Btech from any IITs also, you need Gate score to get into Mtech/MS

So as you mentioned that many companies were coming to campus for placements like GS, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart for Data Scientist profile. Can you tell whether a person from civil background doing masters in DCCC (Climate Science) having relevant skills for the job can get the Job in that domain or not?

Nope they generally dont recruit from civil. They choose students from CSE/AI/EE/ECE

@@kishalaydas so as climate science is an interdisciplinary branch and most of the course work is based on maths stats and also computation still they won't even allow the candidate to appear?

Academic pressure is there, high only. But you can manage it.

Generally they focus on mtech grades only.

I have done Btech in CSE. For Mechanical AI and CDS brach will be good for you. Its really a good branch. Placement is also good.

IITB vs IISC M.Tech Average placement wise which one is better?

I would say almost same. It might change a bit (1-2 lakhs) each year here and there. May be in some year IIsc will have better avg package, on the other hand some year IITB would have better avg salary. But more or less they are equivalent.

Not only IISc, but every IIT has also set up online classes for Mtech for the last two years. So if cases are too much they can provide online classes for MTech students for the whole 2 years. But they always prefer offline classes.
