Thanks for another great video. I love watching your collection videos, it also gives me a heads up in case i missed any good games to add to my collection. I hope you feel better!
Man that's a cool collection of ps3 games. Physical copies of games are the best. That's why whenever i bump into a good deal i buy it even if it goes into my backlog.
Congratulations! You got all 4 shmups released physically for the PS3! Also, you are missing some "rare" games but most of them are not really worth to be played since they're not really good. Those are more of a collection thing. You have a very solid collection nonetheless!
Sorry you weren’t feeling well; I enjoyed the video series regardless. PS3 is one of my favorite systems and I need to fire it up and play both the gems on my 500GB hard drive and the discs I have collected then and more recently. I agree wholeheartedly about Uncharted 2, one of my favorite games of all time.
I found your channel from another RU-vidr. Iv actually been binging your videos while being sick😂 I sorta trophy hunt. It would interesting to see your trophy history!
Thanks so much for binging my videos! May I ask what other youtuber you were watching where you discovered me? Hope you feel better! I may do a video on my trophy history! That could be fun!
Hope you get to feeling better. I think Absolution was just ok for a Hitman game. The best intro to the series is definitely Blood Money for the PS2 in my opinion. Also, I’m pretty sure Lair got patched to make the six axis controls optional, it’s in my backlog but I’ve heard people say it’s a good game post patch.
Hope your feeling better man. Learned something new though, I didn't know there was a Pocky and rocky spin off on PS3. Thought after the SNES it was just the heavenly guardian games on Wii and PS2.
You definitely have a huge PS3 collection! There were a few games on this end of the alphabet I didn't see that are (I believe) physical exclusives on PS3 that you may like: Lost in the Rain- there's an english version from Asia. It's hard to find, but a neat little horror game that was only on PSN in North America Rambo- it's a goofy rail shooter with quick time events. It can be played like a light gun game with the move controllers. Strider- the 2014 metroidvania Strider game got a physical release in Japan that boots in english on an American console. The PS3 was the only console that got a physical release. River City All-Stars Super Sports Challenge- it's a massive remake of Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku Soreyuke Daiundoukai, which was originally a Famicom and PC Engine CD game (Crash N the Boys on your shelf there is a sequel to it). It adds tons of new content, graphics, modes, and customization, and got an english release in Asia. Under Night In-Birth: EXE:Late- another weird Arc System Works fighter in the vein of BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Persona 4 Arena, etc. Vampire Collection- a compilation of Darkstalkers 2 & 3 with new modes. I'll probably end up thinking of more later, but those seemed like they might fit the bill for the sort of games you like in your collection. Take care of yourself!
Thanks for another great comment! I was discussing Lost In the Rain with another collector. There is some debate about whether it had an actual physical North American release. There is a chance that it did, and it's just extremely rare. Strider I played on the PS4 and I think I got all of the trophies. I knew it had a physical release in some regions, but I didn't realize it was also on the PS3. I'll have to check out the others. Thanks for watching!
@@RNGGamerYT I'll try to remember to comment so you get the engagement metrics to help your channel. I enjoy your type of content, as it is more personal and positive. As to the Lost in the Rain debate, I believ it had 4 physical releases. The common one is the Japanese language version, which is only, like, $40 and easy to grab, and is under the title "Rain." There are 3 other extremely limited varaints, all from smaller Asian countries. There are South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan variants, all under the title "Lost in the Rain." The easiest way to tell them apart are the rating symbols on the lower left corner of the front cover. The blue/grey symbol is Korean, the Green is Taiwan, and the one that is basically just a barcode is the Hong Kong variant, I believe. That's the one I have, anyway, and it may have been Singapore instead of Hong Kong. The North American version of the game shared the same title as its Japanese counterpart, "Rain," and I would imagine any physical copies would have shared that same title. I don't know if that's helpful, but maybe it might be useful to you and your friend.
@@bananonymouslastname5693 thanks for helping with engagement! I am fascinated with the whole Lost in the Rain release history. I kind of want to do a video about it
You definitely don’t have every rare game, but you’ve got a good collection and it was interesting. I appreciated the Japanese and European game recommendations
In defense of trails is the greatest rpg world building of all time. I started with trails 1 (like you did) and then went back and played the psp games and it's such a rewarding payoff. Also tocs1 is an absolute slog until it hits the cliffhanger so I also get your take.
@RNGGamerYT I think if you start at trails in the sky (psp) it kinda locks you in that you need to experience it. Maybe someday it'll be randomly picked haha. Love the channel btw!
nice collection! The legend of heroes is one of my favourite games, Jrpgwise.... Too bad that you unluckily started from the most dull game of series, and without previous exposure. that's like starting to read Lord of the rings but skipping first two books... difficult to understand what is happening. If you want to give the series another go, i'd recommend Trails from zero and the sequel Trails to azure remakes, that were just released this year. They will get you into the world setting, and are a bit more mature and less cringey than the cold steel arc. Many faults in the series, but overall the complex world of legend of heroes is amazing. It has a feel, like it has some secret knowledge of how the real IRL world works, told through a videogame. very demanding series timewise, but worth it if you are into conspiracies and corruption and secret societies and suchs.
Thanks for the thorough reply! I am into all of that stuff, but maybe I just don't have the patience for a long-winded jrpg series like that anymore. Perhaps, if I find those remakes you mentioned, I'll give it another shot
Hope you feel better. Great video. Quick question how to randomly choose the game to play from the backlog? I was considering putting together a random generator for my games to choose what to play next.
None, yet! I haven't had one of the games get picked for me to play. Unless someone decides to become a top-tier channel member/patreon and forces me to do it 😅, it might be a while
@@RNGGamerYT I remember the trailer for this looking really interesting (it got a purchase out of me) but it wasn’t for me in the end, I sold it. But maybe if I’d played more it might open up later
