Such a incredible car, they have done a incredible job on the car , I like the fact the outside is still Oem an hasn’t Ben touched. More of the Sierra please!!!!!
No need to apologise Tom lad, really love these videos as they are a great reminder of where the cars of today evolved from. These sort of cars have far more soul than those of today 👏
Thank you TGE! A fun update with plenty of 'boring details', can't wait for you and the 912 to hit London's very own YT Square coming months, cheerio ✌😎
Sounds great, ask about the fuel line routing as it seams it might rub on the cross member and with time and heat could cause wear, just a thought..love the car.
Your going about this the right way, getting the car solid underneath, mechanicals, interior and the body to top it off... Its a good looking classic to be enjoyed on them warm summer nights. Good work Tom 👌👏👊
Sod the Lambo's, your new classic Porsche addition is much better, nothing smells and feels like an old air-cooled car, great content Tom and thanks for preserving and not full resto'ing her
Such a cool car .... so much charisma. I think this will lend massive legitimacy to your retro / classic tour to Scotland and certainly fantastic from a visual filming and watching perspective. It will be very interesting to see what other folks turn up with too. Great stuff.
Such a beautiful car Tom. Bet she'll drive like a dream now! I really love the fact you are leaving the 'patina' on the bodywork as it suits the green paint perfectly. Absolutely love the 912 content so keep it coming lad 👍 Oh yes... And more on that Sierra please!! 🙏
Super cool classic collection Tom. It's never flashy to drive a classic car, however you get positive reactions. My dream classic is the BMW E30 M3 in red. I was 18 when it came on the market and I guess those teen dreams never die. Great channel !
Love the 912. I’m sure you know the distributor is wrong and the vacuum advance isn’t connected. The 356 engine I have has a Bosch 022 with a mechanical advance.
I love the old stuff content. I understand that chasing the views makes perfect business sense, but from a selfish standpoint please make more stuff like this!
Loving this project, can't wait to see the oxidised Green paint being detailed to a more original OEM finish, best Car ever on the channel by a country mile. so This is chaos!!!! but the Ford is HELLLL!!!....I Had a whale tail RS in Moonstone blue many moons a go, Great Memories.
Cool video thanks Tom. Being an Aussie I love muscle cars new and old but I also love and appreciate all cars and motorised transport including bikes and boats. ( i own a bike and have owned a couple of boats). I like these types of resto videos so keep them coming please.
Looking good , that Karmann Ghia looks the buisness too👍🏻 There’s a convertible one in an OMD video from the early 80’s gorgeous car ( a bit before your time 😂) Karmann ghia with a Porsche 911 engine , now that would be cash 👌
This is my favourite car in your collection by far Tom so I’m glad you are keeping it going despite it not being a YT view magnet. Probably going to buy a 964 now. Not a Targa obviously after my last misadventure with removable roof panels. 😂
Love this car and project so much, Tom! I think you've either got to go full Singer with it, full resto, or keep it tatty(ish) on the outside but mechanically sound on the inside. I'd definitely go for the latter 😉
Nice to see a nice attainable car on the channel , I have one ( far worse condition than yours ) and it’s nice and basic , not scary for the average home mechanic. I’m upgrading as I go with a 123 Distributor ( Bluetooth mappable ) alternator conversion and 1720 big bore kit .. Should be reliable, usable and most of all FUN
Hold on....slow your roll... that MB Pagoda you just past is epic! And the silver Karmann Ghia in the corner... get David’s input on those, and glad you let him talk about the updates! ( stick to being the camera man, LOL)
I really hope that this car is going to be a long-term keeper. It already looks so cool, and with the interior (heritage vibe *hint hint*) and paintwork going to be sorted, it will be even cooler! #justlookatitsatthere #cash #crisps
