It's been 2 years since I walked into Porsche center Doncaster after seeing a heavily camouflaged GT4Rs testing on the Ring and begging for an allocation :) after a couple of delays the car is finally here, I'll take you through the spec choices and show you two other cars being delivered at the same time Please Enjoy!

Congrats! Beautiful car and color. I agonized between Gentian blue or standard white. Went with white since I already have a Sapphire blue 981 Cayman S. Enjoy it Nick, mine hit the port last week and just waiting now for it to arrive at my dealer.

I m not sure what it is, but I always thought gentian blue looks especially stunning on the 718. However your combination with the exposed carbon looks even more amazing. 😍 Congratulations to such a great colour combo, btw the car is nice too. Lol

Good idea, I’ve heard they are now having issues with supplying enough Bucket seats, along with the Bose, pdls and roll cages

Looks good. Well filmed. Two year journey with no history of buying other Porsches? I am also in Australia and had my name down for at least 5 years and have had GT3RS etc etc. Perhaps access to these cars is easier in Australia as in US they seem harder to get. We have had many journo reviews and now need the owner feedback. I have only done 500kms in mine and currently have headed out into the country. The car seemed to relax a bit after 500 kms and hopefully the awful drone around 3,000 rpm will disappear.

As I said in the vlog I've had a 2016 3RS and 718 GT4, there is a little drone at around 2k rpm on the freeway which is reduced with valves closed, it's still not great but this isn't a long hauler, we recently filmed a decent drive and gave some feedback against my last two cars

@@Driver_88 Second day of my country drive in the GT4RS and the drone wasn't as bad - especially as you say if you close the valves, something I overlooked yesterday. Also noticed the first full tank of petrol only took me 250 kms slowly pottering around town, but out in the country running it in under 4,000 rpm, so far the car has covered 500kms on the second tank of petrol, with some left.

@@TogaTig I'd say they will make them this year and next year 24' then stop. if supply chain stuff for carbon and magnesium improves i'm sure they can produce a decent amount next year.
