Lol I love how your comment has absolutely nothing to do with the video or the comment. Your comment sounds privileged and jealous cause you just HAVE to bring up what the small amount of the people of this particular culture do when the majority doesn’t do it anymore. Focus on the bad that your culture still does instead of the majority of beauty it shares with the world. Your comment really made me laugh out loud for how stupid you sound on trying to sound intelectual and concerned. When in reality you’re just trying to take away from the beauty to make you and your culture look better, even though your culture has and still does far worse. (Not saying genital mutilation is alright, it does happen but not as much as you want people to believe. Things are changing)
All i can say is WAOW, BIG Respect to the dancer, the cosplay designer, the make up artist and the choregraphist. You honnor proudly your root. Keep going!
i know im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I love any help you can give me
@Abdullah Ryan Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I know it sounds weird, but i've always wanted to be African... I'm white and french, but deep inside, africa's story, culture as a whole is so joyful and boosting. Dancing is like opening your whole body idk, maybe i was african in an other life, i just feel some bonds. Be proud as Africans ! You're all incredible, so strong that you can inspire ppl like me.
Omg guys ! I just found out that i've african roots !!! I never knew my family from my mother's side and i found out with genealogy that my grand-grand mother was Algerian ! She married a dentist from france and left africa to live there ! They got my grand-father who married a french girl to get my mother ^^, i'm so happy that my feelings were true haha, i couldn't guess since my family from my father's side are all from the breton side of the France, so i'm white but yeah, guess history is clear now
Point of Enlightenment - the VIBE is of the African Diaspora - which Beyonce is birthed from and is part of - of which she intentionally and proudly emanates the collective culture of the African Diaspora (Motherland, North, South & Central America, West Indies, Caribbean- current and indigenous) on her world wide platform. The people in the video are of the same lineage and clearly deeply rooted in the indigenous practices/art/essence of what we are. There is a language, a history and a spirituality that is known and shared by the conscious collective of the African Diaspora- we hear, see and understand it in the art that they are (and Beyonce is) presenting to the world. In essence, it is like our very own morse code. There is so much more to what Bey does - so spectacularly - and what this amazing group has done with their video - than meets the eye. And I for one love it and I am here for it. The power of the spiritual awakening - it is coming and can never be stopped by the colonizers - it's a birth right.
Standing bare foot on this soil sends vibrations through you. The wind sounds different the sun feels different and the rhythm of the people feels like a heart beat. Being African is being of this soil. Mama Africa ❤
This reminds me of a show I’ve seen in Brooklyn, New York called “Bam! Dance Africa” - featuring Black American and Black African dancers. They do jaw-dropping, heart-stopping dancing just like this!
WELL, COME ON AND KILL THE STEP THEN!!! Lol Y'ALL WENT IN!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😍 GOD BLESS WHOEVER CHOREOGRAPHED, DIRECTED, AND EDITED THIS VIDEO!! AND MANY BLESSINGS TO THESE AMAZINGLY TALENTED DANCERS AND THEIR BODIES FOR CONTINUED BRILLIANCE! THIS JUST MADE MY DAY!
