Great video! Well done! Unfortunately or maybe fortunately, here in the Western world, children have to be dealt with by way of motivation while sticking with your facts. Even when they're doing the 'wrong thing ' you can only win them over mostly by reverse psychology. And with time, they would try you, trust you and love you. I work in Nova Scotia as an ECE and I can't begin to explain how that has totally transformed my life with my Nigerian background. I believe the western world children are fortunate to be trained using these positive vibes. Imagine if as a child in Nigeria we had such motivation and inspiration in schools and from teachers, we would have been angels coupled with our great cultural background which is lacking in the west.

I sooooooo much love your comment, I want to like it a thousand times. Honestly that 3 weeks has changed my life. Yes the kids here sometimes can be a handful but the way they are being trained goes a long way. The positive words and motivation, I’m using that on my son too and he really listens even tho I shout here and there too🤣 but I’m learning so much not just for my teaching career but my family. Thank you so much for sharing this 💙

This video was a lot to unpack 😅 oooops! Thanks for “showing” us a sneak peak into your world. You guys have patience oh 😂 I’m glad you love it there and you are taking the learnings. It’s really different for immigrant teachers especially from our part of the world where things are done a little differently but you’re doing well and you will be fine. Good job 👍

The truth is you can’t get here and immediately transition you probably will still need to do a few courses and get certified to teach first so you can come in with any other job and settle in then transition . I hope this helps
