My Pre-shave Routine + Gillette PURE and Heated Razor Cut #2 - average guy tested  

As a black man, I've never been able to have the perfect shave at home. I use hair clippers that make me look presentable, but I've never been totally happy. Your review of the Phillips Oneblade, changed that. I now get a close shave ever time, maybe not as close as a razor, but not far off.

I can't use shave oil on my face or I will often break out like a gourd. I instead use a camphor based product called "Prep" from Italy. I shower first, then apply a small amount of Prep - massaging it in well. I let it do its thing for a couple of minutes while I phwhip up some lather, etc - then I re-wet the face and apply my prepared lather. The Prep leaves a protective barrier on your skin and doesn't cause issues some folks may have with oils. Check it out if you can.

Rinse with warm to rinse out the pores and face, and then rinse with cold to close the pores and everything down. THEN after shave. You may notice a refreshing difference. Just a helpful tip 🤷🏻‍♂️ works for me 🤙🏻

Nivea doesn't actually sell that sensitive face wash in Germany although it's a German brand ... Weird. But I can recommend Bulldog, which is from England 😋

Hey, enjoy your videos. I recently purchased the Philips One Blade. I shave twice a week. I use Williams Lectra Shave pre shave. I then use my Touch Blade for my second pass. Have enjoyed the Tough Blade for two years now. Thinking of going for the Supply Single Edge razor also. I use Nivia shave cream for the second pass. Have a great weekend.

I graduated from Nivea to Clarins Exfoliating wash. Much better product but 4 times the cost of Nivea.

I have no pre-shave ritual so maybe I’ll try yours. I’ve never used oil.
