Now that I’m super pregnant there are a bunch of beauty treatments and ingredients I have to avoid. So, I went searching for a prenatal facial and found Spa Lé La here in Los Angeles. I'm seriously thinking of planning a trip to LA just to get at least 4 treatments you've shown us in the last two years. Would you ever consider coming to NYC and doing some treatments here? Would love to see your thoughts on what we've got going on here - though I bet LA has much better options! xoxo

Everybody goes on about the pregnancy glow, but I can't believe that it's just glow! Skin is so indicative of what'sup with the body, and pregnancy is HARD. I'm just mestruating, and it gets my skin so sensitive, I can't imagine how being pregnant must change things. It's so great, to get to relax from all that and not think about being super vigilant for a brief period... taking a bath, knowing that your kid is there, in good hands, close by? This should be available everywhere!

She used something after the cleanser and she said that I was mint in it. Well mint is not a good ingredients right? It can be very irritating for the skin right?

Yes it can. So can all those essential oils she used too. Hopefully the oils were diluted with a carrier oil.

Hi Susan, I just wanted to inform you the spa went out of business due to COVID and the links you have are not available. I tried getting one of the products and the owner sadly inform me this through email :(

Sometimes the products used in the facial are too harsh or full of chemicals or hormones that could be harmful to the baby like retinol :)

I like the whole pampering, but not too sure about extractions while pregnant. I was told not to get facials during pregnancy so I never did, but pampering would be nice. Going to see if anyone in Miami offers anything similar to this. :)

Liyani Bernier I tend to agree with you on this. I remember when I didn’t have kids and I would say I was “so tired” after a long day at work. And someone with kids would say “you’re not tired unless you have kids”. Like what? Yes I can be tired too without kids. Moms aren’t the only ones allowed to be tired. That’s ludicrous. So yes, you should be able to enjoy every service this spa offers.

I’m with you, but why not to a regular spa or go to this one and let the workers think you’re a mom for the day? With no kids you shouldn’t need daycare or have to worry about pregnancy dangers. Say I left the kids at daycare or something. Talk about nieces or nephews if pressed. Even if they found out, I don’t see any reason they’d throw you out for not being a mom or a parent. Why argue with money? Moms are probably just their primary targeted demographic.

This spa has a day care for kids.... why are you acting like this is an exclusive club for moms? It’s just a service catered toward people who can’t find or don’t want to get a BABYSITTER. Nobody said YOU had to have baby... 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😘
