Isn't it quite dangerous to use compressed air on your skin? I'm sure you're not supposed to use them on your skin as they can force air bubbles into it
@@no_name475 Funnily enough I do know what I'm talking about. Literally google "compressed air on naked skin" So I wouldn't bother saying anything if I was you :)
MuckyDucky HD thanks. Didn’t know you were a skin expert. You think google has everything? Maybe certain pressures of compressed air but I wouldn’t say anything considering the person doing the facial maybe knows what they’re doing?
@@no_name475 You're pathetic. The first reaction was just a question. And you reacted like 'you better say nothing if you don't know what you're talking about'. And on top of that you ask that person to subscribe to your channel... Like...really???? Geeeezzz, that's cheap!
I wouldn't be surprised if the pressure is variable. I would hope they account for the thinness and elasticity of people skin. I think it also matters whether or not there are tears that are able to allow that air in. I used to do some machining in high school and we'd use a high pressure air hose to clean bits of metal and wood away from the drill bit. We were warned not to aim it at ourselves because it could damage our face and cause cuts to fill with air. I don't know what was serious and what was just the instructors messing with us, but this is probably something that people have addressed somewhere on the web.
@@ラブニコちゃん I really want to how damn well does a facial help with someone with erupting volcanos coming out of their pores lol . This is so superficial, I can't believe it makes any difference .. just like using a professional hairdryer
@@caseychan-smutko5114 you are correct about the part where you stated no one has perfect skin, and no 2 individuals have the same exact skin type! I am a Florida medical aesthetician with 15 years hands on experience and practicing today, and the jet peel treatment is so effective, it would not leave any impurities, dirt & or make up after the treatment, most diligent aestheticians always double cleanse prior to an advanced treatment and or any treatment, it’s a fabulous treatment if you ever have an opportunity to try it out, I highly recommend! Love & Blessings @tampabayaesthetician
Yeah but if it's something thst needs multiple sessions b4 it works what's the point, it's better to have women who actually do this stuff to see how good their skin looks
Mark Ching My skin literally is *_crispy_* that’s how dry it is, and if I don’t moisturise it, my skin looks like what happens about 3 weeks after you get a sunburn, ya know. And yet, even with no product its still freaking shiny. What?
Sparks Fly yeah, you can have dehydrated oily skin. Your skin keeps compensating for dryness with more oil compared to dry skin that compensates by flaking.
@@sparksfly6149 try to use aloe vera gel and Light Cremes with hyaluron. It have to be light. It worked for my skin. Maybe you have the same "seborrhoea sicca" as i have. This means your skin can't absorb greasy(hope thats the right word) cremes or oils.
Agreed. Medicube has a series like that and it was so good. The "downside" of being a beauty specialist or correspondent is after a while, your skin doesn't match that of most of the audience watching or reading from home and we don't get to see a major difference.
Facialist: We did the one side of lymphatic drainage and you can definitely see a difference! Me: yea the right side looks way better Facialist: we did it on the left side Me: w t f
sarcocytsi25 Saline is sterilized salt water and we actually currently have a shortage of it. It’s costly to sterilize and it’s not a great investment money wise because there no real growth rate.
They are. Especially "products". I'm an esthetician in school, all of this talk about lymph drainage and literally everything that comes out of an esthetician's mouth is pseudoscience. These girls make their money off of women who feel insecure and don't know anything about real science and biology by making their mumbo jumbo sound legit and too complicated to understand. Estheticians can never EVER help your skin. It is purely hopes and illusions, not results. If you ever want true results, please see a MEDICAL esthetician who uses laser treatments and needles. A massage and cream isn't going to get rid of your acne.
맥스 when my acne was at its peak, I went to my derm for chemical peels and microneedling which helped so much. But for monthly maintenance and gentler treatments I like to go to aestheticians for dermaplaning, microdermabrasion etc. The effects are less compared to the derm procedures but since they’re less intensive on my skin, I can do them more often.
It shocks me how many aestheticians look like they do none of their trademark treatments on themselves. This girl looks borderline homeless. Not a great selling point.
my bet is the hyaluronic acid. that shit was magic on my skin. You can literally buy it for like 10 dollars at tj maxx or on amazon and its the same product.
But pause and 6:21 and see how in the right side her hairs look lighter than left ones, so definitely there is some lighting effects going on to show us the change, either the left video is dimmed or the right ones is lightened to make it seem that it worked 🤷🏻♀️
As interesting as this facial is, I wouldn't try it myself. The reasons for your breakout is probably because of whatever stuff wasn't being blown off was instead being forced deeper into your skin. Especially from that 90 degree angle.
I've watched tons of these videos but this is the first time I've seen a significant immediate difference between the before and after shots. Her skin was gorgeous! Glowing!!! Wow.
Dude version Me: hey grandpa can you power wash my face i have blackheads Grandpa: sure can young'n stand up against the wall ill hose you down 10 mins later..... face peels completely off Grandpa: we'll try the air compressor next time
Why don't you use people who have actually skin problems? If I'm watching a facial for people with oily, clogged pores or dry skin I want to see someone with oily, clogged pores or dry skin. An acne treatment on someone who hasn't had a single pimple in a year is a waste of time and money.
@@Ssookawai it's not only water, it also consist of nitrogen and oxygen it really helps with reducing dark spots on your face, so 20$ is considered worthy
159 dollars just for exfoliation lmfao, stridex and cheap glycolic like the Ordinary can literally do this as well, I have no blackheads anymore, my skin is glowing, I still have breakouts here and there but that's literally the same thing she experienced. Hyaluronic Acid plumps your skin, so of course, her skin would look plumper after the treatment. Just do a skincare routine with products you trust, you never tried the products these facial treatments uses, so if you're sensitive or acne-prone, you're gonna have a bad time if it breaks you out instead
YOur spraying GLYCOLIC ACID on her face then you should make her wear goggles! What professionals you are. Also, maybe I crazy. But i don't get why you would clean the face so well with the power wash and do glycolic acid. Clean your face Super well. THEN put on a face mask. You dont really need a face mask after all that other stuff
As much as I love facials for how relaxing they are and how they make your skin feel good afterwards, I’m getting pretty sick of hearing ‘anti-aging benefits for people in their 20’s and 30’s!!’ The only people that age who need to worry about how old they look are chainsmokers
Not really, as soon as you stop "growing" around 25, you should start thinking about antiageing products, if you want to maintain a youth looking appearance, depending on one's skin type the ingredients will be different, but if one's into skincare, one is most definitely into antiageing ingredients, there's no point in using this ingredients after the ageing process has started, they won't do anything, they are meant to be preventive not corrective
@@gerardoarenasss I completely agree, in your 25 ish things start to happen. I am a 33 yr old licensed esthetician for 10 years and YES take it from me start anti aging products, lifting with micro current or guasha/cupping around 25
@@GabsterZ21 I just realized my comment had a typo, yup, when you stop growing it's all downhill and you should start the anti ageing process of your skin care, there's no point in using Botox when one's face looks like a map of the world's rivers
Using glycolic acid (aha) + vitamin c + retinol? Hmmm... I've read that you shouldn't use that in one session. I'm suspecting that's the reason for the break out.
It's simply a oxygen facial it's not strong enough to force blackheads out of your pores. It's more so penetrate products into the skin rather than taking things out.
6:17 skin does look nicer I agree. But also a matter of one ring light versus two. :) Background & clothes are brighter. Reflection in pupils show two light sources at right
*Lymphatic drainage my medico mind is laughing out loud. They are making a fool of these brainless people. 😂😂😂😂 Lymphatic drainage is absolutely impossible. And lymph has nothing to do with facial puffiness.*
Uhhh you do realize there's actual science proving lymphatic drainage is a real thing that can be done and is beneficial right? It can be done all over the body..
I did once and afterwards idk if it's just me but I started gettin all this big O pores on my forehead it took me awhile for my face to go back to how it was never again.
This is questionable at best. Nothing about this is good for your pores. Forced air and delicate facial skin is a recipe for serious disaster. Especially if someone accidentally blows an air bubble behind your friggin eye! Good Gawd people...... Use your heads for more than a rectal thermometer!
@Marilyn Mercury Well skincare is an area that interests me, and common sense was instilled early on by my amazing M'ma. So............. Yeah. I don’t know about the "handsome" part. But it was nice of you to say it. lol
Tbh, the side of the face where the lymphatic drainage was done looks a bit older than the other side. Also, it seems that the power washing is just another fancy way of applying ingredients which were already established as good for the skin. Since the chemicals used in the process is the same as others, the comparison would be more convincing if they compared half of the face where the acids and serums were applied the usual way vs the side where the power washing was done.
"You can definetly see the difference between the side we did the treatment"... no I can't. There's no difference. I feel like the meme of The Office, they are the same picture. I mean, I don't know if this treatment would be efective or not, I'm not a dermathologist, but I feel the tecnician is trying to sell the thing with that, even when is not true
Every single before and after showing of these expensive facials. Exactly the same except the after has more lighting and the face is wet. God, people will pay for anything.
But won't this cause like a wind burn or something? And this girl had almost perfect skin, it'd probably be more effective, and satisfying to see the difference, on someone with really clogged skin.
I'd rather have a skin care routine, thank you very much. Like, if you have the money to spare and not feel guilty about it, sure, do it to try it, why not. But otherwise it seems... pointless.
