The weather looked fine there at the time, so warm here in central FL right now, looking for some cooler weather to do an outing for POTA. It seems to be bug hatch season right now. Anyway, I am going to look up your antenna as it looks interesting for those places there are no trees or enough places to erect a wire antenna. Cheers es 72, Davey - KU9L
Around here putting wires in trees is a no-no for a lot of places. Most county and state parks don’t allow it. In some areas there are no trees at all. Packing in a five pound, 30 foot pole in a backpack isn’t really practical. My lightest backpack friendly pole is only 13 feet. I could setup a wire on that but the vertical works better.
