Congrats Tina! Our daughters share a birthday 🥳. Wondering if in Singapore it’s more common to go without an epidural or if getting one is a more popular choice. I’ve done it both ways and there are pros and cons to both!

Of course the female body is amazing. What do men do to have children? They only have sex with the woman. Women go through the whole experience of carrying the growing child inside their body. Their body goes through tremendous changes as their belly enlarges and becomes very heavy. Not forgetting that they not only nourish the child during pregnancy. Imagine breasts that grow so huge and heavy just for the purpose of nourishing the child after birth. Plus that ever painful experience of pushing the baby out through their vagina opening. That’s how amazing the female body is.

This is inspiring. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and I’m very set on unmediated but people keep putting me down or off saying I’ll be begging for a epidural which I’m extremely terrified to have as I’m scared of needles. This was just beautiful and really did inspire me to stick to my plan no matter the pain or emotion. Congratulations 🎉

I'm not a mother, but I've taken care of hundreds of babies and children in my lifetime !!!! The best advice that I can give you is: YOU DO WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU AND DON'T LISTEN TO ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS FROM OTHERS !!!!!! THIS IS YOUR BABY AND YOUR BIRTHING EXPERIENCE AND YOU HAVE TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU !!!!!!! Sure it will be painful, but God made women with the ability to give birth without drugs. Just think about all of the women who have given birth in the days before there were drugs available for their use during childbirth. There were millions of babies born without the use of drugs during childbirth. YOU CAN DO THIS !!!!! I HAVE FAITH THAT YOU CAN !!!!!!

Immediately after my baby came out I started talking to him! I felt such a strong rush of love and safety when he came out and I just loved that I was finally meeting him, I kept saying "Hi baby, hello! Hi baby!!" And hugging him. It was short-lived due to some complications but that feeling of euphoria during those first minutes of his life was probably the happiest I've ever been.

As intense as it gets, as horrible as we think we sound, and as physically & emotionally draining as it is, nothing is more fulfilling. Totally agree. Every child is a precious gift of God and produced when man and woman share that kind of intimate love and have sex. The most raw part about childbirth is feeling the child being pushed through the birth canal. That same small opening which man and woman enjoyed having sex with becomes a channel of pain for the woman during childbirth. But that’s what God empowered women to do. And the most beautiful part of childbirth is the moment after the baby emerged and starts to enjoy skin to skin contact with the mother while being nourished with her breast. Women are amazing and deserved the utmost respect from everyone.

You’ve shown the part where you were in so much pain, and as someone with anxiety and trying to conceive I can’t be grateful enough to know what to expect, seeing what Mother’s go through during the labor. I’ve seen a lot of birthing videos but mostly cut the in between where they were in labor, and this video showed me what I need to expect when the time comes that I get pregnant I will go back to this video and remind myself my expectations of labor and birth. Thank you for sharing. I have been a fan since 2015, I have seen you grow from being a woman to being a business woman, to being a wife and now be a Mum. I’m 27, I don’t have any plans or want for a child in the future for reasons. I SOBBED. My bad for watching this while I was getting ready for work. I loved this, such a real, raw, and powerful feminine energy. Makes you really appreciate and bless the women around you who have labored and had babies, both family friends and strangers. It’s a miracle every time. Thank you for uploading, watching your journey has minimized SO much fear about being pregnant and going through labor, and now I know my reasons for not wanting a baby is more based on not wanting one cause I’m not ready vs fear. I also thought it was super cute that Alfred and Biscuit was there for you the entire time; your baby is adorable! Congratulations! 💕

Ah yes I'm also realising thru this video that perhaps I felt like I'm not ready for childbirth because of my fear of the unknown. But Tina's video took that fear of unknown away. I have to thank her for uploading this. It's different watching some random birthing video which I avoid at all costs versus Tina. Even though we don't know each other, I watched her video thru the years and I feel like I'm watching and supporting a friend. Tears just kept flowing thru the end. I hope you're recovering well Tina!

As someone who’s had 2 fairly traumatic birth experiences, I typically shy away from watching this kind of thing (even TV shows where someone is giving birth, I get a little PTSD) I found this ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and amazing and I’m thrilled you and Alfred had a positive, natural and safe birth experience. For the first time, I was able to bear witness without the usual triggering feeling where I want to look away. it was so nice to see a birth this peaceful (if it can be called that for anyone!) and I’m so grateful you shared it with us. So brave and calm and just lovely, like you. Welcome to the World Sweet Baby Lyla and congratulations to you both!

Unless you nearly lost your life, no, it wasn’t “traumatic” and you don’t have “a little PTSD”. You’re just another dramatic person who doesn’t know what those words mean. Birth is meant to be painful and medical interventions are a NORMAL part of the birth process. That’s life.

@@hollydaugherty2620 wow. I’m sorry I’m alive to write a supportive and gracious comment bc apparently the fact that I and my premature baby survived means I don’t “qualify” for trauma. As someone who was immediately rushed into a csection after being diagnosed with life-threatening preeclampsia at 37 weeks this was very informing and great to watch! I found myself going “WHATS GOING ON WHATS HAPPENING OH MY GOD” the entire time because I was fully medicated and have no idea what happened from the time I went under to the time my catheter was pulled out of me lol. After developing endometriosis, high blood pressure and sleep apnea after this experience I will never have anymore children or get to experience anything like this. So thanks for sharing!!! ❤️ May God Bless you and your new little family. Much love xoxo

I have worked in labor and delivery for nearly 7 years, supporting mamas through their labor. Your birthing journey is so beautiful! 🥹 Thank you for taking us with. And my gosh, girl, you are impressive!! My German Shepherd was next to me as I watched your vlog. He became concerned when he heard you breathing through your late stages of labor. 😆 This may sound weird, but I was coaching and cheering you on the entire video. You are a queen, Queen! Lyla is such an adorable dumpling. And Alfred, my gosh what an incredible husband and dad! How he was there supporting you- touched me heart. Bravo, you all! And CONGRATULATIONS! 🥳💕
