I wanted the procat so badly!! I got a Traxxas CAT in 1989 i think? It got me in RC and the rest is history as they say. Now I need to get one if not a CAT2000! Love the video and Grate carbon 😍 I polish some stuff but now it's custom!!
Thanks glad you liked it. I didn't know about the traxxas cat, but I see that it's in a very different class that the procat 😊. A cat2000 would be a nice car to have, maybe that will be the next re-release 🤞🏼
Thanks 😊 . Enjoy the restoration it's so much fun. Cool, I'm not that good on schumacher info, I didn't know that there were a second version upgraded diff and better shocks, thanks for that info 👍🏼
You are right👍 Tamiya looks nice on the shelf, but for the race track not really🤣 Since this time Schumacher, Associated, Yokomo and Kyosho are much better on the track! In my opionion Schumacher are very special cars and i always loved them. I have "some" from topcat/cougar, cat xls, storm to the actual laydown, l1evo and storm st. Always nice and fast👍👍👍
Yeah the Schumacher cars are very special cars. I now got two pro cat's, one re re XLS and just bought myself what I think is a Couger 2 chassis. It's well used and missing some parts, but hope to get it up and running. I have not tried the newer cars, I would think, they are nice and fast as you say.. But I'm still a Tamiya nut, so most of my cars are Tamiya, both for shelf and running 🤪
Thanks for videos. Love the stories behind your builds. I only had Tamiya's growing up. Now I have what I like, not brand focused. That said have soft spot for Tamiya's and most of my collection are Tamiya's. Others are built for purpose. Bashing or for the track. 👍
Thanks, really happy to hear that you like the stories. Yeah just the same as me, that be i only had tamiya build your self cars. I did have some other toy graded rc cars. Once you go Tamiya, you will always have a soft spot for them. Yeah there are a so many other cars that are awesome to bash with and race with.
