That is a really easy and slick installation. Afterburners really add something to an edf. I've used a similar unit. The aluminum tape is a nice touch, I haven't seen that before. Great review Dom.

Thanks buddy ! The tape is painful to apply. You need the patience of a saint to do it...but really worth it for maximum effect.

Can you start the jet out of hand and land without gear? (I know, you have to remove the tanks etc.)

Bit too heavy for that I think. You'd have to remove the landing gear to save weight and even then it would be high risk.

Not at all really. These things don't draw enough power. More likely to be affected by you using more throttle so the afterburner light switches on ! 🤣
