MY REACTION TO REVENANT REBORN'S NEW ABILITIES!!! 

Basically, revs new ult gives him a +75 shield which can also slowly recharge by itself, but it increases revs hitbox. you can regain your +75 shield(basically recharge an entire blue shield with a knock), your tactical recharges instantly and the ult duration increases, this has alot of potential for crazy aggressive plays with rev which are also rewarding, jumping on an enemy, knocking them, and jumping again. Really excited to try rev reborn out.🔥

Rev looks so cool like imagine him poping his ult leaping to a guy and knocking him than leaping to another guy with extra shields lol that’s terrifying

I’m going to miss silence a lot, that was my favourite ability in the game

I was actually kinda scared on seeing the new passive because I thought they were removing the increased climb distance/speed, very happy that stayed. Am now scared for the whole "mark your entire team can see" on hitting an enemy at 40hp or lower, depending on how far that mark can trace from a Rev with a sniper could be VERY annoying to deal with. Exchanging Silence for a movement ability doesn't hurt as much as I thought it might; Silence was a fairly frustrating ability to deal with because it just locked you out of your character's abilities with the only counterplay being either not getting hit by it or avoiding it once it's placed. The leap looks really good for repositioning/pressure and it seems balanced around the fact that while charging it you can't shoot, and from the animation it looks like you can't while in the leap (but bouncing off a wall cancels that, if what was shown is accurate). The Ult looks like a much, much more aggresive version of Totem, with the downside of being the only person who gets to use it. Actually solves one of the main gripes about Totem being the rushes (Totem + Portal/Pad) that were still kinda annoying to deal with even after direct nerfs towards that. Keeps Rev in the fight for longer, and prolongs itself as long as you are doing well with it a la getting knocks. All in all, very excited to see this! Edit: spelling

It only took 3 years for rev to be reworked!

His Ultimate gives him a 75 HP shield that covers Revenants upper body but not his legs or head ( think Gibby Arm Shield but stronger). This 75 HP stacks on top of Revanant’s normal health and shields Similarly to Ballistic and Bloodhounds Ults, if you get a knock or kill while Revanants Ult is active then the Ult Duration increases. Also his tactical recharge’s if you get a knock So in theory you use the mobility of Revenants tactical to push an enemy. Activate Revenants Ultimate so you gain an extra 75 HP “ arm shield” and easily win the 1vs1 because you have more HP than your enemy. Then when you knock the first guy your Your 75 HP “arm shield” will reset, your Ult duration will increase, and your tactical will reset, allowing you to push the next enemy and rinse and repeat until the entire squad is dead And because Revenants passive let’s him ( and potentially his team) see wallhacks on weak opponents you will know which enemies to prioritize attacking while your Ult is active This rework makes Revenant into a Fragger character that’s designed to single out weakened enemies and finish them off

With Rev being a good legend now a lot of people are going to be picking him now and that's going to suck for us rev mains because our guy is going to be taking from us so let's hope that us rev mains get to be the first to pick

They did so good. I’ve been nervous af, and been worried about this rework, but i think they did amazing. I have 5k kills on Rev and I’m not looking forward to the scrubs that are about to come try to play him.

I had to rewind it a few times but basically what I’ve learned from the new rework in the 2 minutes shown. Passive-(called assassins instinct) wall climb/fast crouch walk (remains the same) and new bonus passive- when the enemy from the video is below 35% health the enemy is highlighted (marked with arrows if revenant does it) scan seems to last 4 or 5 seconds. Tactical- shadow pounce, which is a chargeable leap forward seems to go around the same distance as a octane jump pads first bounce when fully charged. (Also is possibly tap strafable for pc players) it has a hand animation it makes when the pounce is fully charged. Ultimate-forged shadows provides him protection from bullets (up to 75 damage) but is still vulnerable to traps. 25 second timer at base. Stipulations - once broken it has to recharge which will be paused if revenant takes damage More time can be added if you get a kill (which also fully will replenish the 75 shield barrier) if you get a knock it will instantly recharge the tactical shadow pounce. If I had to guess day one I’d say he would be an S+ teir legend easily the best assault class legend as well, post launch day, I could see him floating from anywhere from A+ to S- teir He seems very easy to learn as well but that’s what I learned.

They are definitely gonna nerf the extra shield from 75 to 50 and the distance in the tactical i can already see it

Literally the Only thing about Revenant reborn I don’t like is that I prefer his OG/current design more than the reborn design. I hope you can still use his OG model other than that he’s gonna be so fun

Yeah I also played Rev when he released with low profile (Legend takes 5% more damage) attached to him. When I saw that I was wondering why a 7ft tall refrigerator hitbox character has low profile.

I think they just make him weaker by taking out the silence ability. Death totem is the mobility for the whole team.

basically his ultimate is like a second shield , it makes his hit box bigger but it’s also 75 extra health basically an additional blue shield on top of whatever you have

Alright vengeful. Lemme summarize the highlights. Ultimate gives 75 percent auto rechargable shield for like 25 sec. If you knock someone, it recharges the ult duration, your shield, and your tactical completely.

So i got this cool theory as far as story for the Revenant remade. So as i watched the video of his new abilities, they seem to have a relation to other legends abilities. I think Silva (or whatever that guys names is) has been watching all the legends and their abilities and implementing them in a small way into the new revenant. I saw some relation to Octane with the tactical, and Gibby with the shield in his ult, etc. Im a rev main and im hella excited, BUT i think he might be a little too overpowered. idk thats my theory anyway.

Whenever they release a new or “reconceptualized” legend like when seer first came out, they make them op asf. 1) to get the pick rate up, and 2) to see how it balances against the current meta. He’s going to be fun asf to play when he first releases, but they’re inevitable going to nerf him back into the ground once they see how it all balances out. I have hope though 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I’m going to enjoy making so making people Terrified as a Rev main. Ok here’s run down, can climb faster, can see dmg’d enemies like a vantage and bloodhound combined when at 40 or below hp. His tactical can let him leap but it can be charged to help him go farther, his Ultimate gives him health of a blue shield, it gives extra 75 hit points at cost of being a larger target with bigger hit box, it can be reacharged with knocks, not only do they recharge the shield, but the duration of the ultimate, and even your tactical ability so you can use it as a sort of offensive force to knock an enemy, get extra shields up, and pounce on another enemy, rinse and repeat until the whole squad or third party is dead.
