This is a little different from the videos that show twists, sections, etc. I like to get in and get out when it comes to wash day

I don’t wash my hair in twists or sections either ... takes way too much time . Just detangle your hair beforehand if you’re worried abt tangles and apply the shampoo 😂

7Lawaneeena I detangle with both. Before I actually wash my hair I like to keep my hair under running water and detangle , wash , apply conditioner and detangle again just to make sure there are no more tangles

It’s amazing how different hair types people have. Your hair is so beautiful and I appreciate that you take your time to take care of it and embrace your natural hair. It’s also fascinating to watch how different your hair routine is for example compared to mine. I have wawy naturally blonde hair so I only have to wash it with shampoo couple times in a week and that’s it.

I just recently stopped parting my hair when I shampoo, then I part it in half to condition and I'm so glad I did! It saves so much time. Im relieved I am not the only one that does this lol. Great video and I just subbed!

To reduce tangling use a slippery cheap conditioner or cowash prior to wash and it detangles quickly because you're basically detangling hair with lots of product/moisture instead of shampooing some out and struggling later💯 Takes me two minutes👌🏼

If you want to detangle your fast, you should definitely use the Felicia Leatherwood brush! That brush saved me time on wash days😁😅. NEW SUBBIE💞! LOVE YOUR VIDS!

I guess it depends on each person but I always shampoo two times, and while I don’t put it in twists I will use my hands as I wash to separate sections, at least to get shampoo really good the middle which is the thickest part

Finally someone that doesn’t wash their hair in sections. It seems way too time consuming and way more effort than I need. Mostly I see people with type 4 washing their hair in sections maybe because it’s easier for their hair type but I have 3c and I can wash it without sectioning it no problem.

love how easy and quick this is. also has anyone with 4c hair been able to grow out their hair with a similar routine (i.e. wash and gos)? i have been using a similar wash routine but i feel like the single strand knots and tangles I get throughout the week have been really stunting my growth and that I maybe need to stick to braidouts and twistouts :( i love wash and gos like this though because theyre so easy and the curl definition is beautiful

Wash and go's aren't really good for type4 hair bc of the single strand knots!! You should try braidouts!! If you dont like the shrinkage you Can stretch it out with hair ties OR a blowdrier Hope this helps❤️

Just wanna mention you don't need to shampoo in twists, you could still split the hair in half and tie it up with a loose ponytail holder or just move it out the way and shampoo in two big sections. Also I like to condition/detangle outside of the shower and start off with finger detangling so I can really work out the tangles. Then when I go in with a comb to make sure it's really detangled.

Agreed girl I don’t know how these people have time to shampoo in sections! And I don’t see it as necessary because it’s tangled at that point anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️ I also only twist off sections after defanging with conditioner. I thought maybe I can only get away with it because my hair isn’t that thick but you’ve proved that thick haired girls can get away with it too!
