Also you should definitely explore some 70s classics. The doors are truly amazing - Jim Morrison was something special. Also zeppelin obvi and Janis Joplin sounds beautiful on vinyl.

Do you normally check the vinyls to see if they're scratched or not? I've been wanting to buy some from the thrift store but they're usually always really scratched up and warped. :/

Boho Stevie Nicks this is actually the first vinyl i got from the thrift store solely because it was brand new with the plastic packaging around it! i haven’t thrifted any others that were opened so far due to scratches as well.

Thrift stores, goodwill are good places to looks for 80’s era amps. They really bring out that vinyl sound. Awesome collection!

Our collections have few records in common, but I sense that we engage/interact with the music to a similar extent. I've been collecting since 2004, and I can assure you this is just the beginning. PLANT WOMAN! Meg!! I love your collection but cannot believe you have no Beatles in it! I highly recommend Sgt. Peppper's, The Beatles (the white album), and Abbey Road! Also think you would enjoy Eric Clapton and his band Dereck and the Dominos. Love these record collection videos

sometimes if records are reprints or mass produced, they’re not actually warped, the grooves are just deeper and the needle isn’t heavy enough to push out of it so that’s why it skips! If you put a penny on the needle head while it plays it could fix the skipping problem!

Love my beach house depression cherry vinyl, and love that you have the figures the score! I remember going on a trip to Georgia when I was 12 and listening to that cd on my Walkman the whole trip. Joni Mitchell, Blue, Best album of hers. She’s iconic. Very nice collection! You should check out Andy Shauf’s “The Party”, it’s what I’ve been listening to the most on vinyl. I think you’d love. Thanks for sharing your collection and reminding me I need to get The Score!

That’s a great turntable! Not only because it sounds good, but it’s actually known not to destroy your vinyl records, unlike those Crosleys, and Victrola’s that destroy your vinyl records.

I don't know how much of a negative effect it may have on the sound, but the decorations on those speakers boxes are beyond cool!!! I think you are onto something there. There are many who are audiophiles and buy equipment for specific performance and there are some who buy Crosley turntables to have something to play in the most basic way. I TOTALLY see a market for people wanting cool, decorative speakers like yours in that Crosley crowd. If you take my idea and run with it I want 10%!!!! lol.

I have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon. It is beautiful and so incredible. I purchased it over four years ago and it still works perfectly. I also have Satechi speakers which are great as well. Just in case anyone wanted to look into different record things!!!
