Thank You 🙏🏾 For Having Me ! To Everybody Watching This, I Don’t Live That Life Anymore, I’m Trying Everything To Become A Better Me, It’s Not That Easy 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️
I came to America in 1996 with my brothers and I’m so thankful to God for the choices that we made. Our parents didn’t have the money to buy us Jordan or Nike shoes but we fixed our gaze on the American dream. If you’re a parent in America, talk to your kids about the American dream and encourage them always to make better choices.
The dream of having access to credit, working as many jobs as you want and making money, living in a neighborhood of your choice, raising your kids in peace and happiness, driving the car you like if you can afford it, etc. etc.
@@kimmyphina2751 Get education, get a good job or a career and buy a house. We went through the same thing 1998 but our Dad use to say. I didn't bring you to America because of cloths and sneakers. focus on education, we thank God now we can afford any cloths and sneakers.
DJ Nyaami, Sweet Mother. The guy is real. I once lived in Minnesota and what he is saying about that state is true. I am now living in Maryland and all he said about the state is also true. I’m happy he has realized his mistakes and he is now changing. His mother is a good mother.
It takes a lot of tact... skill and intelligence to get a person to confess to crimes. Even the police struggle to succeed at this craft. Good work and congrats to the interviewer.
I’m sending him light and love. Bro Kiddo , if you can see my comment, there is nothing like lateness in Christ. It doesn’t matter what you have done and where you have been, He has a good purpose for you🙏🏽🙏🏽. To parents reading this, parenting is not something we can do with just the naked eyes. We need spiritual authority from God. We need to walk with God and pray constantly for God’s will to prevail.
@@FOSUCHARSEbut he's literally not taking his own advice. I can relate. When you've been down and engaged in some mess, it's literally hard to heed to your own advices.
U can be the best version of yourself, good life is ahead of u... change your way of life, u get a good heart. Make your mom proud because she can't always be around
Woes on Obimansu for an African child. Very insightful...i can concur, no one will understand his plight! Racism and descrimination leads to issolation with its ripple effect on innocent children. Great job @SVTV!❤
This young man’s life should set as a case study for most Africans parents especially Ghanaian parents. I hope he turns his life around because it looks like he’s still in it, he is not out of the woods yet! And it’s sad 🥹
This is a really important conversation. Parents who come to America have to pay attention to the things kids go through, the neighborhood you live in, the schools they attend, etc. Kids will bully and if your child is sensitive or impressionable, they will go to any group that accepts them or do the wrong thing to impress the people they want to befriend. It’s real and parents need to pay attention to the emotional aspects of bullying and or being in a new environment.
He is speaking the truth about clothes n sneakers inmiddle school and being bullied. It happened to me when I first came here. What saved me was math class. In the 7th grade most students wanted to partner with me in Math/chemistry class, the bullied stopped. The same guys who once laughed at me started defending from bullies
yeah he has a great story and I'm happy he is sharing to the world...may God bless him and see him through......but why would his mother not buy him nike and Jordan shoes to let him get what he wants and not go steal and not get into bad friendship but can pay almost $5000 bond for him to avoid prison and can pay tickets for him to go and hide in Ghana.....Ghanaians parents are some kind of way in such of these cases, I really don't want to into details it's really happening to the Ghanaian youth and its very sad
If your child heeds to his/her parental advise, credit is given to parents for good upbringing but if the child is stubborn and ignored parental advise, the blame is put at the doorstep of the parents. Such instances it's difficult to accuse the mother of negligence rather, this guy is just unstoppable and won't take any advise from his mum. His mum has gone through a lot in bringing up a stubborn child like this kido.
I knew from the beginning what the dude was picking out from his laps selectively and then finally rolling them out. Dude, start your own business. Entrepreneur.... start building your credits small small. Ever blazing !!
Lots of Parents in abroad don’t listen- when I came to U.K. I told my mum we should relocate and she did nothing, but always complain about friends around me. I finally got a job and I moved out and doing much better ❤
They would rather send money home and take care of lazy relatives back home than live in a expensive neighbourhoods. New parents coming up this is your advice to yourself
@@flojoeizationthe notion of building a mansion & living in abject poverty here or any part of the western world befuddles me. You pay taxes in your country of residence. That’s the more reason one must live comfortably. You build a house in Ghana & put relatives to house sit for you. How many days will one spend at home when he/she goes for vacation? They will call for money to pay light bill, electricity & taxes. Fuck the lazy bums.😂😂😂
Nah...that's what serial criminals and drug users always say. They look and sound like realist, apologetic and remorseful. But honestly, they haven't changed a bit and don't want to. They will give you all the best advice but they don't take their own advice.
In fact this guy is Real ..... He didn't blame anyone for his bhad habit.... But he blame himself.... That's called accountability..... Bro pls work hard to get money and stop those stuff cos s lot of us wish to get U.S.A visa but we haven't get yet... Bless up 4 ur teachings ♥️🙏
Thank God he didn't blame anybody in his interview but rather praising his mum for support him in what ever happened Big Bro there is bright future keep pushing keep pushing make it big 🙏
We all went through it but some are weaker than others. No excuses his issues is internal family issues from start up. Even during this interview, he is an addict. I grew up in Trenton Nj and I can relate but we grew through the nonsense and we good today.
I grew up in Newark and Irvington...it got so bad we had to start fighting the Akata bullies back in order to gain some respect. The Ghanaians teamed up with the Nigerians and the other Island kids.
You wanted to fit in. Your honesty is not enough you need to have a change of heart. Let people know you have changed by your actions. God bless you and stay bless
Very disturbing and sad😢 God have Mercy 🎉Such a nice boy. Can he just slow down a bit and live a good life??! Awwwh jou can see how his Mom loves him? Still makes him soups etc!! Not sure if he's her only son/child 😮
It’s sad listening to him and I can just imagine what his mum is going through, she’s tried and we can’t say she didn’t train him well, it’s just bad company he joined back in school. I pray he finds his purpose in life
Bullying is no joke in middle & high school if you aren’t wearing designer clothes & shoes whether you have money or not. It’s the worse feeling ever & almost dropped out of school multiple times. My parents had to talk to the principal to address these matters before I returned to school. Parents need to understand these issues their kids experience.
In America location is very important. Any big cities New York, DC, Atlanta etc can have a big influence on your kids. Parents can’t be with their kids 24/7. It usually starts at school, that’s when peer pressure and other things starts to kick in.
You’re so right, I’m in California and a single mother of two. I used to live in a very expensive neighborhood and my friends say it’s waste of money. And I told them my kids are my everything! My daughter is in University 2nd year. And my son is also doing very well in 10th grade. I always tell people to talk and be there children’s friend.
What parents with young children [including teenagers] should know is that the neighborhood you live in America is very important as they are linked to certain criminal-ridden schools which are mostly predominantly black. Although houses and apartments in these areas are reasonably priced, there is a price to pay! If your child is susceptible to peer pressure [he is denying this but who is he kidding!], this is what happens! Once you find out that your child is at risk as in this case, move right away to a neighborhood with good rated schools. If you can afford it, some of the best schools are private schools where they wear uniform [including sandals] so no such peer pressure. Although private schools may be expensive, you have to budget and cut your expenditures [in other areas] until your children graduate from high school. Once you have a criminal record in the USA [especially felonies as in this case], it will be very difficult to get a professional job. Only few people are able find good jobs with criminal records. I wish this young man the very best in life. It seems to me that he is remorseful for his past behaviors [although he is smoking 'pot' even on camera!] as he has so many years ahead of him!
Yes, one thing a lot of people don't know is there is a record for everyone in America, ,if you don't keep it clean, without crimes it affect your chances of getting good job even after you change, just like yr credit. Bro good that you are being honest for other youth. In bad sch they will bully you, but don't join them. Parent if you don't live in a good school zone put yr child in a charted school
I work for a jail in NY, trust me this guy has no regrets . He’s just a better criminal. He knew the punishment for his crimes but still did it anyway. It is what it is tho
This young man speaks so intelligently and well informed. His mom obviously did her best. One of the main reasons why parents cannot control the kids is the system. The system has taken control from parents. Ghanaians cannot exert the traditional control, authority, and guidance that we are used to in Ghana. I pray for parents who raise children in America. It is not easy.
I always wish i was born in America but I don’t know if i will be alive by now or not if i was born there. The life there is too serious…you may end up in gang and get killed. We have to be content with whatever we have….. All the best to you man….may God be with you🙏🏾🙏🏾
