Thanks for watching!! Also note that certain provinces in Atlantic Canada and the Prairies may offer you temporary free health coverage as an international student, if you meet the eligibility criteria!
Yes, if you get a study permit and your spouse have an opportunity to get an open work permit. You have the option to try and let him travel with you or afterwards. Many persons say they prefer the spouse after they arrive.
Sincerely it makes sense to come in as a PR. It ain’t easy being an International student, juggling between work and studies, beating due dates and all. But in all we hope International students will get it easy soon. Especially the high tuition rate
All way na way Feyi. So far one is able to achieve his or her goals. Even trowey hand sed join, so many road leads to the market it's up to the individual
I think coming as an international student is currently the most ideal given the upcoming changes in the Express Entry which could cause further delays. Current CRS scores are high and for those coming in as FSW it's still going to be tough, not unless one considers taking French and doing TCF/TEF exams to boost their scores. The French-speaking categories are gold at the moment as they are less competitive due to fewer applicants. Scoring higher points in French also gives a bonus of 62 points, so if funds are an issue, you can learn French which is a cheaper alternative and will guarantee you an ITA or Provincial nomination, especially if you are over 30 years of age and without a Masters program given that the odds are against you.
Important information ❤. Some people already qualify for PR with high CRS score potential. There is a common notion that Student route is faster as they don’t need IETLS but they forget they still would write it eventually before becoming PR except the non express entry route which isn’t so common.
If age is not an issue, there's absolutely no reason to see school route as better or faster compared to PR. Again, not a lot of people really do their research before taking these steps.
5 years to becoming eligible, yes. Calculate another 8-14 months for citizenship application process. Hopefully, the pandemic backlog gets cleared and this crazy wait time is a thing of the past when it’s your turn 😌
@@FeyiMac I also applied to a school too, if that is positive I’ll definitely be using that route cos from news i hear the draws now take much longer times.
Wonder info, very detailed! Pls I intend coming in as an international student alone this fall 2023, but I am using my spouse and child as part of my home ties, pls can I still process their visa application to come meet me in canada after getting here first?
Job well done Feyi, you are really helping a lot of people out there who wants to embark on the migration journey, pls help us do a video about countries one can visit visa free as a PR of canada, thank you.
Hey feyi I’m currently applying for a college in canada and my country first language is French but then i grew up in Nigeria so do i still need ielt result or should i skip ❤️🥹🤲🏻
Hello, your case is quite peculiar. Was your university education delivered in English? If yes, contact the program’s admissions office via email or phone and tell them that. See if they’ll waive the language requirement for you.
