beautiful decorations! I store my glass ornaments by wrapping them in tissue paper and stuffing them in a extra large TJ maxx reusable bag and hang them up. merry christmas!

Egg crates for ornament storage!

The small baubles you can store in egg cartons. The bigger ones I keep in postal tubes with some sheets of tissue paper to keep them separated. Once the tube is full they don’t move. That’s how I store mine.

Buy boxes of inexpensive or clearance ornaments, use the boxes to store vintage ornaments and use the newer ornaments to decorate somewhere else in the house or donate them.

There are special plastic storage containers for ornaments now. I think I saw them at Walmart. You better check for them now because Walmart has them out and they will be sold quickly.

I personally wrap my Christmas ornaments in tissue paper and put them in old cookie tins. I put the cookie tins in Rubbermaid bins when I am done so my ornaments are extra protected.

Check big box stores for ornament storage boxes. We got ours at Meijer.

Aww loved your tour! I remember so many of those ornaments and decorations because I'm vintage aged! My aunts and grandparents had so many pretty decorations that were so innocent and magical. Your little girl and kitties are adorable.

Aw your baby is so precious! Your house looks so lovely and festive. I am a glass ornament fanatic, I probably have 500 or more both vintage and new. I really love the shaped one. I started collecting before I was married and I have been married for 37 years. I still have them too! Here is how I store mine. I use Rubbermaid type totes to store them all year. You are going to need lots and lots of paper. Tissue paper or wrapping paper works well and is super cheap after Christmas. Don't use newspaper for wrapping, the ink can rub off on the ornaments. It is good for a cushion though. First in the bottom of the tote put a layer of crumpled newspaper to act as a shock absorber in case the tote is dropped. Cover that with sheets of tissue. You can either cut or tear the tissue or wrapping paper in about 6 to 8 inch squares and loosely wrap each ornament individually (loose wrapping gives extra cushion) and lay in the bottom of the tote on the cushion you made. Put the heaviest ornaments on the bottom. After you have a layer or two of ornaments add couple of full sheets of paper on top. Continue until almost full then put full sheets of tissue and some crumpled news paper, then put the lid on. Done! Your ornaments will be safe. You can even stack the totes 3 high without any damage. It is a pain the first time you do it because you have to buy the paper and cut it or tear it, but I have used the same paper for years and years.

1 ornament per Plastic cup stacked in a plastic bin / box should work as safe storage. With a thick cardboard between every layer of boxes. If i explained that right...😅 lovely decor
