@@Knives7777 yes it literally is. Since the creation of the aspects she was the leader and queen appointed by the titan keepers. Even before they were aspects she served as their leader while fighting Galakrond. Thats why she became the dragon queen in the first place.

@@KingMidgardsormr Let me reiterate, this title "Queen" is very recent. Through most of wow's early lore and expansions, she had no such title they operated independently of each other's will go back to any earlier expansion and tell me where they ever mentioned her as THEIR queen not queen of the red dragonflight but queen of the overall dragonflight that was never her title. This is the same thing with calling the King of stormwind the over all king of the alliance or high king up until Mop or so that was never a thing this was just shoehorned into make it look like it was always the case. In both instances, it wasn't. From as far back as Day of the Dragon through war of the ancients to Nexus Point to Night of the dragon (these books are sitting on a shelf not 2 feet from me) up to as Recently as the Nexus war Alextraza was never Mentioned as ANYbody's queen not Deathwing/ neltharion and not malygos Not Ysera and Not Norzdormu they barely even talk about her (or each other for that matter) outside of going to rescue her that one time. Not even when they hatched Wrathion did they call her that. He went through all of mop and BFA and never called her that either. I am 100% certain of that no other aspect called her by that name or gave her such titles (until this expansion). Checked the wiki and check the books it was never a thing until maybe connecting novellas between Shadowlands and DF.

she was called "dragon queen" in World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1 page 45 that was when it started in that books retelling of the imbueing of the dragonflights. This book was from 2016. As I said in my earlier comment this wasn't a thing from the beginning and certainly not in the game until very recently.

@@anteprs7908 More like they don't police people. I been playing ff14 for like 6 months but whenever complain or say I dislike anything about the game people get really quite and try staring at me like try kill me with their eyes.

I mean, sure the gameplay has its strengths but when it comes to the community the meta has historically been set up to foster competition with very few restraints on griefing. Needless to say there's the whole Alliance vs Horde aspect, before the change to PvE/PvP servers, high level players on PvP servers had free reign to gank low levels with the only thing getting in the way being the hope that high level players on the other faction would come to the rescue. But putting the factions aside, players on the same faction have their share of conflict as well. In PvE dungeons and raids aren't necessarily badly designed, but they are constructed in a way that can make teamwork a struggle. Many mechanics throughout WoWs history have had minimal explanation within the game itself, requiring people to do a lot of homework and memorizing, plus options to rez in the middle of battle have been very restrictive, thus mistakes made by one or a few people can cause wipes on a more frequent basis and can be damaging on the team's morale. Another thing that might seem minor but also contributes is how many things in open world content historically have been set up to foster competition as well. In the early days players couldn't get credit for killing mobs they didn't tag which has been vastly improved later on. Gathering nodes have also been shared, last time I played they did make changes to make it so nodes stay up longer after being harvested which is nice but still in FF14 each player has their own nodes and never has to worry about others taking it. And lastly there's the company's general attitude that makes a pretty significant difference. Square Enix takes toxicity very seriously and does a lot to enforce the ToS against it (although they're certainly not perfect) whereas Blizzard is a bit more laissez faire on community interactions aside from when people cross the line of extremely offensive language in chat. SE also has things like the commendation system to reward players for getting along.

Agreed, been playing since Vanilla too, it didn't used to be like that, it was ruined when they introduced the E-sport culture to the game. I just get on to mostly transmog, last few months I've been transitioning to FF14 as a Hrothgar, the other races imo are just varied humans.

Nope. XIV requires new players play the entire story start to finish, unless you pay extra to skip it. That means the leveling experience can take hundreds of hours compared to WoW where the story takes a backseat and you only have to play a fraction of a single expansion.

@@Sandberry so... yes. It would be the equivalent of me *paying* to skip ffxiv expansions and then making a video where I'm confused about the characters and events. Which is possible in WoW as well btw. You can play through every expansion at any level. You don't have to go straight to Dragonflight. Although with the way blizzard does things there are now quests missing from expansions. This isn't me defending wow or attacking ffxiv in any way as well. Just kind of odd to make a video passionately confused about a story you paid to skip the context to.

They designed to be casters end of story wow has made 3 big buff melee classes in a row i think it's a good thing for us to finally to skinner caster race class combo for once. btw one the last races were kul-train which are big burly people barly anybody plays them?

As for the Dracthyr Classes - You wake up from 20.000 Years of slumber. On an Island you never left since your conception. Where are you meant to have learned being a SHAMAN for example?

I mean sure. But not all Dracthyr are Evokers right? So warrior, or hunter shouldn't be off the table right?

Concerning Alexstrasza, the Aspects are leaders of their Flights. Red, Green, Blue, Bronze and Black. Alexstrasza is THE Dragon, essentially and pretty much literally the first Dragon Aspect. Of all the aspects, she is the most important. The tie-breaker, the Mom.

@@SyncWeaver They are. Every Dracthyr you see on the Dragon Isles is an evoker. Dracthyr were made to be Evokers, these elite magic soldiers that can use the powers of all flights. I have also now finished the Video, and you do not -need- an SSD to play, I don't. Loading in initially takes time, that has been an issue since Legion and is to my knowledge tied to the fact that, after all, this is a Game from 2004. They squeeze out amazing visuals, but that is at a certain cost. Once you have fully loaded in, any further performance issues will ultimately be your graphics settings being too high Concerning Evoker range - yes, you are closer. Evokers are a mid-range caster. A trait unique to them as casters. They are a hard class to play, the game warns you of this beforehand. Even I struggle, abd my 23 y/o ass has been on Azeroth since I was 7.
