My Review of Murtagh (no major spoilers!) 📚🐉 

Wow-what an interesting character. Very compelling to read!!

It’s been a decade since I finished the Inheritance series. I do remember the sequels after the first book having some slow moments. I think this is why I mostly lost interest in the series after it finished. I do think it is interesting that Paolini has returned to his world after so many years. If this new series is successful he might be able to win over some critics. Some people saw the original series as being too derivative of other fantasy series like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. I don’t know if I will pick up this new series. However the middle/high school kid in me hopes it does well. PS: 300 pages is kinda short for Paolini isn't it. From what I remember the original novels were around 600-800 admittedly easy to read text. The fact that it still felt like it dragged to you does not bode well for the writing. Yikes.
