I appreciate your reviews Jordy you've saved me a lot of money on things that would have frustrated me I'm heavy-handed as well and I like to move material I'd be disappointed with that I almost bought one
Well Jordy my B&D RTX gave up the ghost today , it lasted a little longer than yours. If I recall correctly I got mine about 2 months before I recommend you try one. If B&D would put brushes in them I believe they would last much longer. How ever it out lasted 2 Wens , 2 Harbor Freights and a Sears rotary tools and I would still recommend the RTX for most everyone. You know I bought the RTX the same time I got the Dremel 4200 which is a work horse and still going strong after 2 sets of brushes. I'll more than likely get another Dremel but I would also like to try the Proxxon Pro 1/8 hp hand-held just to see how it compares. Anyway I still have my 1/4 hp WeCheer & Dremel so not all is lost , take care.
Great job at showing what each machine is capable off buddy. I need to ask for your opinion on a piece of horse chestnut I found today. Id like to send you a pic so I can get your input if thats ok? So whats the best place to send the pic? Cheers Jordy
Very good review jordy. I hav a micro carver an everything u say bout it is true. I do small carving such as just carve rob does an I luv it for that use but I don’t use any extreme burs in it at all. But a good tool for lighter hands. No heavy hands need apply. 😀
