"Learn How To Play Gypsy Jazz Guitar"
Bill asks us how to maintain a good right hand position to avoid pain.
- If it hurts then there's something wrong
- Ok you have to keep a floating wrist
- Doesn't HAVE to be bent
- Doesn't HAVE to be dramatic or so pronounced
- try playing soft and quietly
- try straightening out your wrist a bit

ps. It’s a matter of learning and absorbing these little ideas into your playing and not overwhelming yourself with loads of scary scales and arpeggios.

Posture is so important. I found myself 'hunching' over my guitar as my practice got more intense and instead of relaxing i was getting more tense. I completely knackered my right shoulder. I have no problems now only because of learning to relax and breathe. For rhythm, i find, stamina is a major factor for not slowing down during the song and good posture during practice sure helps build that.......Keep up the good stuff you two...cheers from Canada

If you do not correct position relative to your body it better strum another style or just another music instrument.Cheers!

What if Bill had someone shoot a short video of himself playing, and posted it here?
