Please Add a Over voltage auto tripp Circuit to your mains , The benefit is once the voltage increases the limit , it tripps itself , and its auto once the voltage is stable it switches on , Go for some good Quality . Secondly You need to change your ups of the pc The duty of ups is to tripp itself when there is high voltage.

Similar thing happened in my home also but the difference was I had a voltage transformer at my home, all the things connected to that were safe (plus i turned off appliances like fridge, tv, microwave) but only one room is not connected to that transformer as it was built recently(and i forgot to check that room). Voltage fluctuations are common in my area during summers. After sometime when I went to the room I saw my laptop charger giving little smoke when I touch that it was very hot. Thankfully only the charger died and protected my laptop. MCB and and voltage transformers are must at every home.

Same thing happened to me last year. 1050ti died (oow). The repair cost was 8000rs. Cancelled the repair, bought a used 1660S for 11500rs.

Must use an ups for safety. Around 2000 rs ups can save your 100000 rs of pc or other component

I think using MCB for mains and distribution will serve the purpose. Additionally, getting an Inverter will not only solve this problem but also give temporary backup (best solution but expensive). Lastly, if you just want to protect your PC/Console it's better to get an UPS which is a fraction of the cost of the device it is protecting. One of my UPS died protecting my PC as I was experiencing constant fluctuations for a month till it got fixed.

This happened with me. I was using my laptop, and suddenly my laptop charger started to burn and awful burning smell was coming out of it, it was due to the electricity. I tried to complain about it to HESCOM, I went there few times and eventually gave up.

Using an Ups will be a wise choice as well. If someone already has a Ups, he should be fine with his pc and no need to worry about It.

You should have a stabilizer or an inverter (it automatically cuts when it detects some suspicious voltages). Ups will work.

For power surge protector I would say only belkin provides the surge protection just the downside being that if the power surge was serious u may need to replace it otherwise the next attack will pass through. It will work normally after protecting u from power surge/lightning strike once and so far I have been using it it saved my lg smart TV many times

Same happened with me 1 week back. But fortunately my gaming PC and PS5 was connected with UPS. After over voltage my UPS motor got damaged.

What about using a voltage stabilizer ?

Always invest in good power supply. And also a decent ups. So when voltage is low, ups will supply the current from battery, and also it will beep keeping you aware. Many people don't buy ups but 5 - 6k can save you from big loss.

Actually I live In an area where power cut occurs rarely as a result our Inverters battery life was badly damaged due to overcharging. But during Summers in 2022 powercut occured frequently and that time I was planning to build a PC I thought dad will not revive our inverter when I planned to get a UPS they said Instead of buying UPS if we invest 2000 more then new battery will come and power will be supplied to entire house. Initially they refused for not to buying any inverter battery and UPS but even I explained him that It will be RTX 3050 graphics they didnt trust me but when one of my dads friend who has a computer store and who built my PC he explained then my dad agreed to buy a battery we purchased a battery before arriving PC & it was working well but 2 days later I was working on PC and suddenly my PC shutdown due to powercut I shocked how it can happen then I found our Inverter also faulty, Normally when Powercut occurs the inverter auto switches to Battery mode so instead of switching to the battery mode it doesnt switched and turned off. Sometimes the inverter doesnt charge the battery during Mains mode. Then we gave inverter for repair to one of our known person he told us that along with battery the control circuit was also damaged due to overcharging as I previously said. He replaced that circuit into a new one and now it works fine. Now when powercut occurs I still use my PC for 2hours from inverter and I dont need to worry about it because when my inverter beeps for low battery I immediately shut down the PC but till now this stage has never came because In worse condition ie after 2 hours power has been restores in our area.

Go for GF3 thermal take has 12 hvpwr for your 4090 so you don't need to use the adapter which comes from gpu itself helps a lot inters of melting adapter

Similar thing happened to me but there was smoke from fridge . Guess what after 10days i got my electricity bill and the total bill amount was 10k 🤧. Usually we get only 800 to 1000rs per month bill . I complained to the electricity board of my area , contacted head branch office too but no use. I argued to make an average bill for the month based on previous month's but they Denied. I had to pay full bill amount then 💀

Same thing happened to me but luckily i was using a platinum rated power supply and on top of that i was using a good quality ups so my pc was all good just my ups got burned
