Go ask any Christian who has deep knowledge about the Bible if you should be supporting LGBT as a Christian. You don't have to HATE or treat LGBT people bad, but you shouldn't support/condone the behaviour as a Christian.
Yes I knew that but as an Episcopalian in Episcopal churches priests can actually be gay and it’s ok. Although I’m a Christian I don’t believe everything that it says in the Bible because it’s says some things that if Christian’s lived by that we would all be psychopaths like how it says that u can kill your own mother if she wears 2 different threads not to mention the Bible was written a long time ago. Im not saying that your wrong but this is what Episcopalians believe or at least I do
@@Froggy597 Also, the Bible being written a long time ago isn't an argument. The Bible isn't "outdated" in any way, to suggest otherwise is definitely not good either. The things about wearing two types of thread does not apply to modern day people. Not killing and not being gay does.
@@Froggy597 At the end of the day; you should be following Jesus and the Bible. Your loyalty, love and faith should be to Christianity, not a subset of Christianity that apparently teaches things that don't align with Christianity.
@@Froggy597 I'm pretty sure, and don't quote me on this as I'm still learning, but a good place to start to see if something applies to you in current day; is it in only the old testament, or in both/ in the new testament? "In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error" Homosexuality is considered a sin in both. So knowing that, and still choosing to overlook it, would be sinful.
@@9itten well I’m telling u what Episcopal churches believe and what Episcopalians believe and as a Episcopalian it is most definitely not sinful to be LGBTQA+ or to support it and I also have proof maybe Catholics can’t support it but there are many different types of Christianity and I’m not saying that u are wrong but this is what we believe and it is not sinful to Episcopalians.
Actually I was like I didn’t really know what all the aesthetics meant but I was pls don’t assume that just because I was young. That doesn’t mean that that didn’t happen. Tbh it’s kinda rude that u said that :/
