So I counted 131 commas in there so 3 x 131 + 1 = 394 numbers in there or as the game would have calculated it according to the number you got [9.076e391] (that is if I counted the commas correctly I lost track of a comma or 2 like 4 different times lol)

that is a beyond comically high number, like nobody would even put that many characters in if they wanted a number so high its funny.

9.076e391 is such an absurdly large number. Like beyond comprehension large. To put into the closest relevant context i can think of, there are approximately 10^82 atoms in the universe. If you were an being capable of creating our universe atom by atom, even your power is fundamentally meaningless compared to that number. LOL

Thought about it a little more and this being wouldn’t just have to create another few universes to match that number. Because of exponents they would have to create 10^308 more universes to match that number. LMAO

Yeah only way to use ankh later in runs feasibly is with eternal jokers in the mix then ankh can become really, really broken if all your jokers are eternal since with perkeo copying ankh this way you are actually just going to break the game I would wager since you can ankh multiple times per round and end up with hundreds of jokers since what you would do since legendary jokers can't be eternal AFAIK you'll stack a ton of ankh's to eventually copy eternal DNA and/or baron's and such. Then you could get naneif multiple hands until the ante limit is reached.

I did keep it going and the deck fell of immediately as I was net negative on Cryptids evens with the big Steel Joker and Hologram. Baron and Mime were still doing all the heavy lifting.

I'm not too sure what you mean but there's not really anything like the isaac item pools in the game, if you want a detailed explanation on how the shop and pack rng works check the channel "balatro university", specifically the "banan-e-inf" video uploaded recently, he explains it quite well, I'll try to summarize it in another reply since it's quite a long video and I don't remember exactly the timestamp for the explanations (though they are quite early, that much I know) but I'll be going by memory so it might not be entirely correct

Yes and no? Certain Jokers can only appear under specific circumstances (enhancement-based ones like Lucky Cat, Steel Joker, and Glass Joker can't appear if there are none in the deck, Cavendish can't appear until Gros Michel breaks), Jokers can't repeat without Showman, and consumables can't appear anywhere if it already exists in your inventory. But there is no "Boss Blind pool" or some such - every shop has equal weight.

There is a lot of math behind it but essentially, Balatro can only count so far until it stops and once it stops, instead of showing any number, it just says "naneinf" which is basically "not a number but it's infinite"

@@PlutoDarknight Specifically, it just means infinity. NaNeINF = an unknown number times 10 to the infinite power = Infinity. It simply is how infinity is shown in scientific notation, since the first number can no longer be defined.

one singular chance for a 1 in 3 chances to get one singular additional 1.5× on one singular card out of 180+ is not worth the 3 dollars that the aura card costs when you absolutely must reroll aggresively to find a specific joker

@@rajkanishu What makes you think it's one singular chance? You're duping spectral cards and then can proliferate it using the DNA. I do agree that it would set you back by a single reroll, but that could easily save you a few cryptids using the poly later.

ok no I think you are just misunderstanding what polychrome does and thinking it triggers the 1.5× in hand, I don't see how any of this makes sense otherwise

I'm thinking of what he could have done with it Get the Aura, use it on a king, 2/3 chances it does effectively nothing If it does hit polychrome, copy the king with DNA and blueprint so now 3 out of 180+ kings in his deck have one (two with red seal) additional 1.5× multiplier to them but only when played so after all this the exchange is taking 3$ off the mime hunt, hitting a 33% which when failed sets you back to step one and takes even more money off the mime hunt, then hitting a 2~% to draw any of them for the payoff of basically a slightly worse +1 hand size (because adding a 1.5× with polychrome is the same as adding a king in hand for a baron trigger, actually worse once you have mime because it doesn't get retriggered by it) for one hand and slightly increase that 1~% chance for the rest of the run so even if he does get perfect RNG for all of these hits and somehow makes it to the point where he's guaranteed to get a polychrome king in every hand, all he gets is a slightly worse guaranteed +1 hand size compare it to cryptid, which is a guaranteed +2 hand size straight up. and he has 80+ of them you also mentioned spectral card duping so I assume you also thought of duping the Aura but to do that he would need to sell or use all the Cryptids and I don't think I need to explain why that's not something he could've done
