I never see people using a tool that I’ve found extremely useful with scorpion, his back 2 is VERY good at anti-airing and you can cancel it into spear for a full combo it starts to keep players grounded and not able to use Jump ins very easily, im curious if anyone uses it this way too maybe even you diff can use it 😂😂

God to Elder God is where you really learn you need to take matches slow at the highest level. You should be having rounds at least once a session where you are timing the opponent out, or super close to it. The reason being is at the highest ranks, your defense is just as important as offense. The amount of mistakes are much smaller, and you’re more likely to make big mistakes if you’re always just nose down rushing in Also, God to Elder God is where you need to know most matchups. You can’t be missing punishes, or letting people use gimmicks to steal their turns back over and over! Overall it’s just a slower, more patient playstyle and grind!
You know for these tier lists they have been making, idc what anybody says, Scorpion is an absolute menace and his combos are top tier. Granted he needs a wee buff but that'll come soon im sure, with enough people talking about it someone is bound to be listening
Yo, diff you gotta try kano with scorpion. He is kinda OD makes.lots.of.his moves and blocks strings safe, and gives him tons of pressure and still insane combos and re-stand combos. More scorpion please, I learned so much from this vid.
I played the same exact shang player today... he won one round and did a fatal blow instead of just ending the game. He proceeded to lose the set. Buddy is taking L's to Scorpion players at an alarming rate
i’ve noticed a good timed spear on any opponent jump in is a great way to get easy damage, opponents love to jump in from full screen to close distance. works well when they think they have to be off the ground after hitting em with back 3 a few times.
I hate this. I like sub, Specifically Qui liang sub non of that Bihan shit. And I dislike Scorpion. It's like NRS is literally doing this to personally piss me off.
Stryker only takes half the Kameo gauge, plus Stryker can keep b3 and spear safe! Only character he can’t counter is Johnny so a lot of scorpion’s use Lao Kameo against Johnny
@@asrieldreemurr1918 I’m a scorpion main I’m sorry that some players give him a bad rap, I usually keep a medium distance cuz you are kinda forced to back dash whiff punish with him and anti air jump ins (at least that’s what I do) so idk but I’ve definitely played annoying scorpions but it’s the same for every character, I’ve faced a couple that played full screen but they were pretty easy to handle he doesn’t have many tools I don’t really find that many doing it
