My second nugget find with the Algoforce E1500, I also scored a nasty injury from a wild rose thorn

I found this nugget today with the E1500, unfortunately a rose thorn got me right in a vein and when I pulled the thorn out a squirt of blood came out, made me feel sick.
Either way, the detector did its job and scored me some gold, very happy with the E1500, it's a fantastic detector at an amazing price for its quality and performance..

That’s the first piece of gold that I’ve seen anyone find with the E1500! Good to poke in tight spaces like that. ~I don’t have a Sadie but I do have an older white Nugget Finder 10x5 Mono that’s very sensitive. ~I’ve detected quite a lot in the bush and 100% of the time I always wear “gloves” when detecting which would prevent a thorn injury. It’s also good to protect the back of a person’s hands from the hot summer sun from premature aging and skin cancer. Just as long as a right pair gloves can press the detector buttons. ~Also scotch whisky & water ‘or’ a thermos of hot tea might help to cure sickness.

I think gloves are probably a good idea, especially in areas like this with the wild briar rose bushes.

my gold areas are pretty mild soil so perhaps different depth to where you are, I'm not sure depths at this stage, I'm very new to having it and just learning it myself. Time will tell!

@@peterleary2389It's very different to anything on the market, but if anything, it's a mix between an SDC, Gold Monster 1000 and a GPX 6000, seeing the guy that makes the detector worked on the 6000 and GM1000 that sort of makes sense. It looks and feels like a VLF with PI coils on it. It's a cheap way to get a good quality, good performing PI with extra features like Target ID that don't exist on the others, and won't be all that far behind on a 6000, when finding these little bits. It's just so super light too, lighter than a 6000 for sure.

I think I was dehydrated, as such a small injury caused me so much grief, I ended up heading home early and almost vomited on my drive home, dehydration is a nasty thing to get.

@@jeanchardonnay5627 yes, I'm not sure what happened but it ended my day and I was quite unwell for the rest of the day. It's never happened before. The rose did prick me right in a vein though.
