They're technically called roller pigeons my grandpa raised a ton of them the ideal situation is for them to all roll at the same time. Very good video btw!
They are signs to me. Thats what makes the most sense. I believe the monograms are the circular signs. Cost depends on multiple variables. You can email me if your interested and ill get you some pricing.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC I have to apologize for my warped sense of humor. I was referring to ban episode of the Simpsons, Goes like this, Bart to cop, "hey man , can I see your club?" Cop, "its not club its a baton". Bart "what do you do with it?" Cop, "Club people". Just thought it was funny that they weren't supposed to be called "signs". Good work on your part. I think the pigeons are called tumblers. they tumble through the air.
Where do you get your designs from? Do you draw them in some vector design software (eg. Adobe Illustrator) or in a CAD program? What software so you use to make the job done?
It all depends. I would say its closer to $20-50 a square ft for a typical monogram. If you can use the scrap on smaller cuts you can make some more per sq ft.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC I guess it would depend on material thickness too. Trying to get a rough estimate on what to charge by area if that’s possible. Also, do you have a program you recommend for transferring images into a file? I’m new so all the help in the right direction would be appreciated! 🙏🏼
Nice info Kyle. Do you use a service that already makes a cut file for generic items? I ask because a customer wants a skull and crossbones for Halloween and a turkey for thanksgiving. He’s buying from me, painting and reselling them. Thanks
@@SpicerDesignsLLC I asked because i tlooks like yours is on the front right... all other installs I have seen the box and boom are on the back left.. Guess I'll figure it out when I get one ordered.
Happy Thanksgiving! Quick question what is the air pressure you are using from the tank to the dryer then to the plasma? I ordered the pro today sorry i didnt use your promo due to black friday deal giving me the limit switch and thc for free. I do like your videos please keep them coming! 🍻
I run it at 75psi. Congrats on your purchase and i understand. Langmuir screws me on they’re sales. I get them traffic but no credit. I would have done the same thing as you. Save whatever money you can.
Do you use your Baileigh drum sander for sanding your metal signs? Ive seen videos of guys using wide belt sanders to put nice finishes on their metal signs. Thanks.
Ya i can. If theres something you need just email me and we can get it going. My shop is currently down due to a move. Youll see in the next video. Thanks
Nice video. I have the same machine with hypertherm power max 45 xp. Right now I’m using finecut on all of my signs and silhouettes. I’m cutting 5052 h32 aluminum 16 gauge. The fine cut is night and day difference, the Details are very sharp. Thanks for posting your video 😁 watching cnc plasma never gets boring also what is your baileigh machine ?? I have a baileigh rdb 150 tube bender.
@spicer and @richie I’ve seen some work done with that specific aluminum, as well as some of your work Rich, and it looks super nice! I know nothing about this other than I like looking at it, but are there any advantages/disadvantages between steel and aluminum? Other than cost, I would think aluminum is the way to go. But again, I don’t know anything about it other than I personally prefer aluminum pieces. Thanks.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC ya if you get a chance try the fine cut. I will never go back to standard unless I’m cutting large thicker pieces. ( they work great don’t get me wrong ) but the fine cut on small pieces with details is unbelievable difference. You will love it. This was such a great video to show people how to price and what to except. Best one so far. And your shop is MINT man !!!! Love it
@@ar2043 well, the steel has a much sharper looking edge than the aluminum. But the aluminum is nice in that it’s super light and easy to handle the sheets. My sheets are 52”by 72”. (Odd size I know lol ) but they weigh only 20.6 pounds. And I have a stack of them. Both look great cut. I just happened to get a good deal on the aluminum
So 2 questions. Can you provide a complete list of things necessary for the setup you have, speaking about the table etc. The website is not clear as to the entire config. And how much odor is produced forom the process? I.e. Need great ventalation etc? Thanks.
That was probably just simple green cleaner. Just to clean any residue off of it. If the material is really dirty, ive noticed it will mess with the cut. Nothing that noticeable but i clean it anyway
Great Video, my wife and I are looking at the Crossfire entry machine (limited space) looks like your happy with Langmuir? Hey what kind of cordless grinder is that you used in the video? Thanks from your new Canadian subscriber
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I have some amazon links in the description. Its a Milwaukee die grinder. Also have a promo code in the description that will save you $100 on the crossfire. Thanks for the comment
@@SpicerDesignsLLC actually an interesting thought, batch run your logo, optimizing, layout of a sheet send in padded envelope for $$ that has your logo and supporter on the bottom.
Just change the water out when needed. Also have the consumables for the torch. Depends on how much use it gets. Last is the tables slats. They get pretty chewed up after a while.
