That cover is a whole mood!! The section about pretending to be a realtor and doing walk throughs of your house is something I'd never thought of before
Household Notebooks are a great idea.👍🏻 I started one a few years ago and then dropped the ball.😕 One thing to consider adding in multi-person households is an "Alien Abduction" section. In most households, certain tasks are delegated to certain people....changing the filter on the central air conditioning system, unjamming a stuck garbage disposal, periodic disinfecting of (fill in the blank), cleaning the pool (or fish tank, hamster cage) etc. Well, if one of you gets abducted by aliens/dies, would other members of your family know how to do the things that you normally do? How is the task performed? How often? Where are replacement supplies purchased? Are there some peculiarities regarding any task?...do you have to move the filter slightly to the left in order to get the danged thing out? Where is the little wrench kept for unjamming the garbage disposal? Encountering these obstacles unprepared is not pleasant, and adds additional stress during what is already likely to be a difficult time. I have a friend who was widowed 3 years ago and there are so many tasks that she left up to her husband. I've had to help her figure out several things, including how to replace batteries in the thermostat, and I/we still have to remember to work on programming her automatic porch light.
Ahh! I love how you made this work for you. I have dropped the ball on keeping one, but I do so much better with one. I really like the font that you used for the weekly plans. I think Thankful Homemaker (blog) mentioned updating routines page seasonally. I think that is where my routine has changed and I forgot to update pages accordingly. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me. The funniest thing is, the binder I am using is the same color as yours (except it’s a one inch) and the dividers are identical to yours. What are the odds! 🤯
