You actually need TWO binders. One with important documents, passwords, will & trust, tax records, finances, sensitive information that you keep in a fireproof safe. And a “public” binder with cleaning routines, phone numbers, baby sitter info, pet info, meal planning, etc, that is out and available.

This is a great tip! :) I keep originals in a fireproof safe and any relevant copies of things that I reference regularly in my binder. If you have someone outside of your family regularly accessing your records, it's definitely best practice to have a few binders instead of one. Thanks for watching!

And a reminder to let items out of the fireproof safe, so they don't get smelly and funky 😂🤷 might be education from a personal mistake. 🤣

i’m starting a new nanny/house manager job for a very organized family and if they don’t already have something like this, i can’t WAIT to make one. putting this together will be such a fun and productive job for me and then i’ll feel so much more prepared

Hi, thank you so much for your kind words! I have other sections for health tracking, some home owner/mortgage information, taxes, and old academic records including diplomas! I have a separate binder that contains most of my full home owner documentation. Hope that helps! :)

What are all of your binder tabs? are there any that you didn't mention in the video? I am getting organized for myself for the first time in my life and want to make sure that I am not leaving anything out!

Hi, Ronni! I've linked the physical binder tabs in the description of this video. As far as what I put in them: in addition to the ones listed in the video, I have other sections for health tracking and some mortgage and tax information that I frequently reference. Although I do also have a separate binder that contains most of my full homeowner documents. Hope that helps! :)

Just a recommendation, It would CONSIDERABLY help to have a mic (perhaps one you can attach to your camera) to have better sound. Your presentation in this video looks really good. Unfortunately, I can barely hear you and the sound makes me not want to listen. No offense, just fyi to help you improve and be more successful. In my own research, I've found that good sound is more important than how everything looks in the video. Better sound would really help your channel be more successful and I want you to be even more successful. 🤓👍 P.s. - good information!
