Sorry I missed the live unboxing. That was awesome to see. That GMT is my favorite new release from seiko. It is definitely on my “to buy” list for this year.
Thanks for doing this with me it was a lot of fun and I am so grateful I love this watch!! I said I wasn’t going to wear it to work but I totally am, going to be extra careful though.
Congratulations to both on awesome your new awesome watches. BTW, I just received a parcel from DHL with my new Seiko SBSC009, same as yours Chris, but with the white dial. Looks amazing 👏 🔥👌🔥
Thanks for sharing the instagram stuff Chris. I don't use it. I think Trap made an excellent choice. Given how much you love your old SNZG, you must be really happy with this. And it does look awesome. The bracelet on this looks unusually sturdy for a Seiko. But can you confirm this isn't really an engineer bracelet? From what I can tell from the vid, it looks like the 5 bits that occur laterally in each link are not independent.
@@MirrlyonTime Huh, I am blind Chris. Just rewatched the part where you talk about the bracelet. The links really are independent. Wow. This is probably the best bracelet Seiko has made in a really long time :)
@@AnCar88 ok, I was sure I was correct about it being an engineer but admittedly didn’t know for sure what constitutes that, but yeah the bracelet other than the hollow end links and (for some not me) the pressed clasp is bloody fantastic
@@MirrlyonTime Yeah, I don't mind pressed clasps too much either. Some feel really cheap and nasty. But a properly made pressed clasp has some advantages over a milled clasp, especially if you are looking for something lighter and less bulky.
I own this watch. Why it has an exhibition case back is beyond me. The movement is nothing special to look at plus it’s supposed to be a field watch. Other than that, the watch is great! Also, the 4R34 GMT movement has been surprisingly accurate.
Yeah I get your point Robert but for a person who hasn’t been into watch collecting a display case back showing the movement is pretty dam cool, but yeah nothing fancy about this movement, but I do love this watch and my movement is running about 13 seconds fast if I do recall correctly. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t done so yet :) thanks m8
