my settings on my gpx5000 with the Evo NF coils

these are the settings I run on my 5000 with the new coils. I o get very deep gold with these settings but you do have to really tune your ears in on the threshold.. you pick the most faint signals as you would have seen in my other videos

Thanks mate, had heaps asking how I keep my 5000 with the new coils so quiet and getting such depth.. Thought just doing a vid would be just as easy lol. Just hope the luck keeps following

Thanks mate, after detecting for so long you get to know what's what lol but I still mostly scratch with my foot just incase

Victorian gold prospector you should run threshold as you’ll miss deeper/silent targets. That small break in the threshold is the ones you’ll miss without it.

Hi mate. I’m a keen follower and subscriber to you channel. I’ve been having trouble setting up my new 5000 and 12” evo coil. The ground I detect is very mineralised, I’ve been trying to keep it on sensitive extra, fixed, but with no luck. Still very noisy. When I change it to fine gold and tracking, it seems to be nice and smooth with a few ups and downs with ground noise. I will have to try enhance next I think, but don’t want to sacrifice depth.

Hey mate, you could run Sensitive smooth but you do dull the machine down doing so. What’s your target volume set at? Have that set on factory. You may need to drop the RX a bit as well..

Aussie Gold Prospector I had the target volume set at 10, factory is 8 if I remember rightly. Rx was at factory setting. Ah well, just have to keep fine tuning the settings.

Gday Aussie. I have just returned from my very first trip. I bought a nugget finder coil to marry up with my gpx 5000 as you suggested. I also used these settings. I managed to get my first piece of gold on my first day. Thanks for your tips! Why do you suggest keeping the coil flat on the ground? I operated my machine like this as you suggested.

That's awesome well done mate, if you have your coil off the ground you will be missing gold, you will get EMI ect. Best thing is to have your coil on the ground at all times
