Thanks for reaching out. Bissell is very god with their warranty process. You can check their website to find the closest authorized service center and they’ll take care of it. If you are seeking better assurance, try calling their customer service line, they’ll walk you though the process

You are absolutely awesome and do it yourselfers! I have the Bissell PRO HEAT 2X revolution. This is the best carpet cleaner I’ve ever had. This thing is quite the workhorse. I have three large dogs that love to get muddy, three kids and an in-home daycare. And there’s things been chugging along strong for two years! I recently let a friend borrow it (never doing that again lol) but since I got it back from her, I had to take everything apart to deep clean it it was disgusting. Since then I’ve used it a handful of times. It’s now making the grinding noise with the burning smell. I know I need to replace the motor! You would make my holiday if you could post a video on how to replace the motor specifically on this model! I’ve tried to watch other peoples videos on maintaining my carpet cleaner. But you are my absolute favorite. I don’t even bother with other videos anymore. I really enjoy your laugh and just how genuinely kind you are. I hope to hear from you! 😊

Found a new hero. You have taught me so much about how my Bissell Pro works. After 3 years of hard work (have 2 beagles), mine now will work for 30 seconds and then will start making a loud noise and there will be an odor of something burning, so I turn it off, let it rest for a bit, then turn it on, thus starting the same cycle. Replaced a stretched out belt, but that didn’t help. So now I think it must be the motor. Thank you for taking the time to create this video. Your laugh is like beautiful music to my ears!

Thanks for this. I just got a Hoover power dash pet for free off FB. Sometimes people upgrade & get rid of vacuums that just need cleaning or maybe a belt. This shampooer grinds & smells. I cleaned it & checked the belt. A new motor is about $40 so I may try to replace it but I wanted more info before I spent anything on it.

Hello how are you today I have a quick question about carpet cleaners do you have a suggestion or recommendation on what brand of carpet cleaning machines to use for residential I know Hoover has this smartwatch carpet cleaning system out but I have not tried it yet but I would like your input on what you think is the best also do you have a recommendation or suggestion on a bagged upright that is good to use for residential I know a good friend of mine she has a Kirby vacuum but I ain't trying to spend that kind of money on that so I was trying to see what it's the best bag upright vacuum thank you so much appreciate all that you do and God bless you richly and indeed
@monroevac
@monroevac 2 года назад
Hmm ok if you’re ok with bigger units, try the big green if mid size is better for you consider the Revolution 2X. As for bagged uprights mid price would probably go to the proteam xp1500 ( commercial but good for residential) or Bagged SC5815E Sanitaire with plastic body. Other than that get a used Kirby or used Riccar upright and save a $1000 off retail pricing. Hope that helps

Hello, I have that same exact Bissell Pet pro and I was shampooing my steps while the unit was sitting at the top of the stairs. The unit wasn't running the entire time as I turn it off every time to empty the dirty tank. Once I got to the last stair it started making a loud noise then i smelled burning, then I saw a little smoke come out the back. I lifted the unit up and 2 rows of fiber on one of the brushes was shredded onto the carpet. I took it apart to make sure all belts were intact and they were. Fast forward 2 weeks and I used it again and it's still making that noise. Do you think its because there is fibers missing from 1 of the brushes or do you think the fibers got into the motor?
@monroevac
@monroevac Год назад
I would try running the machine without the brush or belts engaged. That will help you focus on the motor. If the noise persist, then you have a motor problem. If not then definitely replace the belts and possibly your brush

I have a brand new Bissell like the first one you showed. It started making a LOUD high pitched noise about 5 min after I started using it. Also the rollers quit. I took the rollers off and cleaned them put them back on, it worked for 2 passes then quit again. But the loud pitched noise kept going the whole time I used it. 😢
@monroevac
@monroevac 6 месяцев назад
Try running it without the belt on. 1st in upright position and the in the reclined position. You’re trying to identify if the sound is coming from the main motor or the brush motor

Hi. Nearly whenever I use the shampooer for a while, the sound that came from it would become loud, and then it would stop suck any water, though it still works, the brush still spins as well. But if I turn it off for a while and restart it, everything will become normal, though the problem just continues to recur. I got 2 Bissell proheat… One is 1858f, another one is 2066f, they just have the same problem. I guess it might be a problem with the motor, I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@monroevac
@monroevac 6 месяцев назад
Let’s eliminate the other moving parts first. Take the belt off the brush / brush motor. Then turn the unit on and listen for the sound. If it still there then your motor is the problem- if no noise then try reclining the handle to trigger the brush motor. And so on- last check the brush by reinstalling the belt. Hope this helps

I have a vax platinum and my daughter used it now its not working, I'm getting a loud buzzing noise checked the belts all fine but they're not turning when I switch the machine on so I'm guessing it could be the motor..
@monroevac
@monroevac 9 месяцев назад
First thing I would try is to remove the tanks and brushes and the turn on the unit. If you still hear that sound the It’s safe to say it’s the motor- find out if you unit is still under warranty and if it is find the receipt and contact Hoover so they can send you to their nearest service center

Hello, I have a bissell like the one in the video to wash carpet and I stop turning the brushes and injecting water from your auxiliary hose after having smelled burned rubber. What could be the ruling? The motor starts and sucks in the apart from below where the brushes are. I would appreciate your help here in Merida Yucatan thanks friend

Hi It sounds like the pump belt needs replacing. If you look through my Bissell tips playlist, you'll find videos that will show you how to change the belt. best of luck, keep me posted

Hello greetings and the pump is sold separately? But because the rollers also stopped spinning, a caso ¿ es por la bomba qué se averió?
@monroevac
@monroevac 8 месяцев назад
The belt affects the pump. Change the belt first- the check the brush again- check all three belts/ 1 pump belt 2 brush belt ( one circles around the 2 brushes and the main motor to brush belt) and Chang your pump belt- then focus on the pump

I own a BISSELL Proheat 2X Revolution Pet Pro 2007C carpet cleaner, I noticed it made a loud noise when it shut down when I turned the machine off, I took it in for a repair, and I found out that the culprit was the pump shaft.

Mine is giving giving off a smell of burning after about 5 seconds of use . but it only sounds loud during different stroke turns. It’s not a constant loudness, . I just bought it two months ago, but it only started after I let someone use it . They said they think it was bc they used really hot water. But I don’t think that would cause it to malfunction the way it has. I hadn’t had a problem with it before then but I can tell the water she used was too hot bc it dang near reshaped the fill tank container that holds the water/solution . Now it won’t spit out water and barely suctions . Please help . This thing is brand new and I have a Hoover heat force. I spent too much money on this thing to throw it away and I’m desperate. Please help 😩 I’ll appreciate an answer but a video would be great too. I just need help. And I’ll send a donation also. Tia

Hmm. I would probably start with replacing the tank. Either by purchasing one or (If you still have a receipt) try contacting Hoover to see if it qualifies for a warranty repair. As for the noise it's hard to diagnose without hand on, but you can try two things. 1st start running the marching without the tank and see if the sound disappears. If it's still there then try running it without the brushes engaged. This way you can possibly identify what's causing the noise, hope that helps

Are you able to identify where the noise is coming from. In other words do you think it’s coming from the motor or the brush? Motor issues would most likely require a repair shop. Brush issue may vary. Something may be caught in the brush /body or need replacing

TURBOCLEAN™ POWERBRUSH PET Series 2806, 2987 so make a real whining noise won’t stop my son forgot to put the the nozzle and let out water and it would not suck up.
@monroevac
@monroevac Год назад
Whining noise… sound like a motor issue, but to be sure, see if you are able to remove the brushes or just disconnect the belt from the brush and Al’s remove the water bins. Then run the machine. If the whining noise persist with all the extra parts removed then it’s a motor issue. If no noise then start add features back and see where the noise is coming from
