From someone who's been married more than half her life... I agree... If someone is not bringing you positive energy they're not worth being your companion... And that applies to friends and family and partners I think. Just like any other person in this world you don't need them but surely it's nice to have people in your life who love you so never settle for less :)
I've been having a bad time, and Amber's videos are always a little joy. Not because of the material goods or purchases - I don't even like shopping XD. It's her being openly passionate about the things she loves, her optimism, gratitude and hope she shines with that, weirdly, helps to look through the dark moments and into the other side of them. How strange and magical it is that an internet stranger can do so much to make someone's day brighter just by saying the simple truth of "hey, don't give up, life is beautiful, and dreams are the most important things" while genuinely believing it. My only vintage bag is a 20 year old Barbie backpack purse. I got it from the recycle center I used to volunteer at. It was a free goodwill. They made money from some of the more expensive stuff that got donated to run the place.
