Man idk where they found Eric's actor but he's a brill addition to the cast; had me in tears.

Poor Tony and Shaq. Tony lost his sister and Shaq lost the love of his life.

Poor Verity, I wasn't originally a fan of her character but she grew on me. Shame to see her go, she was a strong character in the end.

Although Eric is a creepy psycho, I knew he didn't truly have it in him to kill anyone, especially his sister Verity. Eric may hate women but his bond between his sister was too powerful, he loved her despite everything. I can't believe Bobby is becoming like Silas, he's literally a monster!

That hug that Toney gave Eric was heart warming and heart breaking

I am glad they didn’t make Eric do it. The actor is fantastic. I would love a redemption arc where he protects (he survives) the women from Bobby. He comes clean after and says he never took advantage of them and wanted them to feel as small as him. Then I would want him to offer to turn himself in and the women say they won’t and for him to take the most of the opportunity (second chance) and then he leaves the village.

So sad Verity is gone, such a good character. Some of my favorite characters have left the village this year, Marnie, Luke(loved him and Cindy together), then Sid(at least they didn't kill him off) and now Verity. Bobby needs to face some kind of consequence for this, he is out of control.

One of the few characters I still liked on this show that the writers didn't ruin and they killed her off. At this rate, only the McQueens and the Chen Williams family will be left.

This was Silas's ultimate endgame that was pushing his sneaky murdering ways onto his grandson Bobby. Nonetheless, it's getting outta control seeing the kid sneaky around, killing ppl, and getting away with it. Mercedes protecting her son from facing punishment is just making things worse as her son is a constant danger to anyone. It's a shame that a pretty intelligent girl like Verity is gone.

Cannot believe they've killed off Verity like why? 😭😭 Now Hollyoaks also has a young killer named "Bobby" just like Eastenders 🤦🏻‍♂️

So Edward dies at Christmas and now Verity dies around the same time as Edward.

I'm gutted, just seen it and crying. I know it's a soap but they make it feel so real. What a shocker she's gone. I hope there's a twist and her death has been faked to catch Bobby.

The Verity actress is fantastic. Not being in Hollyoaks will be great for her career. The character will be forgotten about by next week like most Hollyoaks deaths

I really wanna know what Mercedes gone do when she found out Bobby killed again , and I’m betting she gone keep on defending him , look child or not murder is murder and you got to pay for what you done and Goldie is gone be the only member of the family that was right and everybody gone be on they needs begging for forgiveness

Watch Merecedes find out that her son unalived Verity, then watch her protect her son and then watch him claim another victim. This all could been prevented if that spawn of Satan was in prison. The fact this woman thinks that Bobby's behaviour is normal is beyond me. I don't care if anyone agrees with me but I am partly blaming Merecedes for Verity's demise.

Literally the only time I felt even a little bit of sympathy for Eric

First Celeste died and she was 1 of my favourites then Saul died as he was becoming 1 of my favourites especially as he was starting to be a father figure to Curtis now verity who is 1 of my favourite characters. Bobby is gonna kill half the village and Mercedes and the rest of the family will still defend him smh. My question how would Bobby have known it was verity who was the lawyer well then again she is the only female 1 in the damn village. If I could whip Bobby’s ass right now I would if Riley was still here I wonder what the hell he’d be thinking rn.

Not Verity she was the most amazing woman that ever came into the village. I was wanted Verity and Shag to have a chance of happiness. Why is all the good people dying speaking of which off key Kristie Alley was one of my favorite childhood actors. She will be truly missed.

Bobby looking conflicted at the end but his halo was ironically gone after that incident. Bobby seems to be directing his hatred towards anyone that attempts to ruin his perfect family with his mother. It was like his face said "I didn't want to do it but she was going to take me away from my mother".. Its also weird because when Bobby usually gets his way he turns sinister with a smile on his face. Its like he's two different people.

Watching the trailer, I knew it was Bobby. Eric is a creep but Verity was his sister and I could see he cared about her very much in his own way. On a side note, this was Goldie's fault, she involved Verity in her vendetta and now she's dead.

I hope people realise this isn’t a redemption storyline for Eric. If anything, the hope of Eric becoming good died with verity. She was the one thing that kept him grounded and stopped him from going complete psycho. Now she’s gone…there’s nothing stopping him and he’s only going to get worse and worse.

I see Eric being framed for this as his storyline wraps up in the new year.
